I'm getting deja vu from the Jennifer Brown case.

"A person has been arrested in the beating and strangling death of the Jersey City kindergarten teacher whose body was found buried in a shallow grave, the Hudson County prosecutor said early Friday morning.

Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez made the announcement on social media platforms just before 1 a.m., but authorities did not provide a name or any details of the arrest.

In a GoFundMe campaign established to raise money for a scholarship fund for Hernandez’s children, Hernandez’s sister said she was a victim of domestic violence."

I'll stop posting so much about this but they have released the name of the person arrested and another person they are looking for:
    https://www.rlsmedia.com/article/upd...NEIMQ4dliHuQeI

    Some excerpts:

"According to Prosecutor Suarez, Cesar Santana, 36, and Leiner Miranda Lopez, 26, both of Jersey City, are each charged with one count of Desecrating/Concealing Human Remains in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:22-1, a crime of the second-degree.

Prosecutor Suarez said Santana was arrested shortly after midnight on Friday, February 10, 2023, at a motel on Biscayne Boulevard in Miami, Florida, by members of the United States Marshals Service Southern District of Florida, in conjunction with the United States Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force"

"During the course of the investigation, Prosecutor Suarez said it was determined Cesar Santana and Leiner Miranda Lopez were involved in a motor vehicle stop on Sunday, February 5, 2023, on Central Avenue in Kearny, prior to Luz Hernandez being reported missing.

The vehicle was unregistered and impounded by the Kearny Police Department.

A court-authorized search of the vehicle was executed on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, and additional evidence was recovered.

The Kearny Police Department, knowing details of the traffic stop, led the Homicide Unit to the area of Central Avenue and Third Street in Kearny, where investigators ultimately located what appeared to be a shallow grave."

Cesar Santana, 36, was arrested in the early hours of Friday morning at a motel in Miami, Florida, by US Marshals, said the Hudson County Prosecutors Office, which had announced the arrest on Twitter earlier Friday without releasing the name.

Santana is being held at the Miami-Dade Turner Guilford Night Detention Center as a fugitive pending extradition to New Jersey, the office said in a news release.

Police issued a warrant for Leiner Miranda Lopez, 26, who has not been apprehended, the office said.
