The Cleveland State University community is saddened to learn of the death of CSU employee Daniel Hapiak. He passed away suddenly May 27 at the age of 38.
Dan worked for 14 years in CSU’s Campus 411 office, providing information and support to current and prospective students and their families. Known for his friendly disposition and love of the Cleveland Indians, he will be sorely missed by his coworkers and all who interacted with him on campus.
Dan lived in Cleveland and is survived by his mother, two brothers and a sister. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from CSU.
Acute myocardial infarction due to hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
