Victim of RV fire death identified
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim of a Sunday RV fire as Skyanne Daniels, 26, of Grand Prairie. The cause of her death remains pending, according to records.
Cleburne firefighters found the RV Daniels was later discovered in fully involved when they responded to reports of a structure fire at 12:47 a.m. in the 300 block of Myers Avenue.
The RV was in the backyard of a home. The homeowner told firefighters he thought someone might be inside but he didn’t know for sure and didn’t know the woman’s name, according to Cleburne Fire Department reports.
Firefighters extinguished the RV with about 900 gallons of water and then began to overhaul the vehicle with pike poles. They found Daniels’ badly burned body near the center of the RV and cordoned the area off.
Cleburne Police Department crime scene investigators responded to the scene as did the medical examiner.
Representatives from the State Fire Marshal’s Office also responded to the scene to begin their investigation into the matter. That report has yet to be released as has the cause of the fire.
