So you lop off you breasts, reconstruct, and may well develop cancer behind the implants, where it will grow undetected. Then you remove your ovaries because they are a risk too and you go through all the crap that comes with that and still aren't safe + you are at a higher risk of other problems because you've totally screwed up your hormones and natural aging processes. Plus, with aggressive BRCA1 involvement, there may already be cancer which has set up housekeeping in some distant part of the body just waiting for the day it's going to take over.
I'm not saying it's the wrong choice, but it's not a sure thing either. It's a guarantee that you get to suffer many of the worst parts of breast cancer, with no promise of a longer, better life.
Well, Angelina had massive fake breasts before and I'm sure she'll have them after, too.
I give her props, I would've done this too. Especially as a parent. When my sister found out her thyroid cancer was possibly a familial strain, I was all ready to just get my thyroid removed no questions asked after the test. And you need a thyroid a little more than you need boobies.
She's already had recon...

My own process began on Feb. 2 with a procedure known as a “nipple delay,” which rules out disease in the breast ducts behind the nipple and draws extra blood flow to the area. This causes some pain and a lot of bruising, but it increases the chance of saving the nipple.
Two weeks later I had the major surgery, where the breast tissue is removed and temporary fillers are put in place. The operation can take eight hours. You wake up with drain tubes and expanders in your breasts. It does feel like a scene out of a science-fiction film. But days after surgery you can be back to a normal life.
Nine weeks later, the final surgery is completed with the reconstruction of the breasts with an implant. There have been many advances in this procedure in the last few years, and the results can be beautiful.
You ain't heard nothing yet. If you are facing a cancer scare you need to decide do I preserve my breasts, my nipples, my skin, my eggs... Do I take meds that throw me into premature menopause to lower my risks, do I have my ovaries removed? What happens to my bones if I do this or that? Will the treatment that may save my life ruin my body, my brain... Shall I reconstruct at all? Use an implant, which requires stretching the remaining chest muscles so the implant can go under rather than just sticking the implant on top like they do for cosmetic surgeries... Or would I rather to a flap? http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...ac..11.youtube.
Do I need radiation? Chemo?
indeed.
lolololol at Angelina ever considering NOT having her huge fake tits put back in. She's like one of the vainest people on earth. And she can afford the best work. Considering how much of her relationship with Brad Pitt is based on kinky shit, I would say the breasts are not an option.
I hate people. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...-birthday.html
Little fucker is like, hey Suri Cruise has her own house and car.
