Jeff Conaway died... I didn't see a thread but I'm sure there is one somewhere so I'll save myself the trouble of making a duplicate
ETA: Oh derrr. Should have read the last page. Nevermind my nonsense.
my dad loved taxi, but i always thought it looked so dirty in the cab station, so i hated that show. i hated sanford and son for the same reason.
the only thing i can watch in black and white is the twilight zone.
i also dont really like danny devito so i cant get into taxi..
I hate Grease but have nothing against Danny Devito. I hate Grease because it's awful. I've never even heard of a non-gay guy liking it before.
And I'm with you, Ron. Taxi holds up surprisingly well. As does Cheers. The jokes & stories on those two shows were timeless, unlike most shows which are just timely. Oh and a few years back TV Guide picked "the Greatest Television Characters of all time", with Devito's Louie De Palma ranking in at #1. Love Devito..Especially him in Romancing the Stone and Jewel of the Nile

And when you watch old shows, you know in like 5 minutes if it's going to still be funny or not. Totally agree with Cheers, same thing. Still good.
I think Louie was the #1 bad guy or something, cause Archie Bunker usually wins #1. Him or Ralph Kramden....at least I think.
And Danny DeVito now? In Always Sunny? Holy shit, it's the best thing ever.
