Here is my question.  Isn't everything scripted?

Even if it is a "reality" show, there are story writers and editors to put all the tape together in order to make an episode plot.

So would the reality shows be affected since the writers in editing can't do their job?  Or does it just not count as actual "writing".

THAT is a VERY good question.

In reality t.v editors do A TON of story telling.  So the lines are extremely blurred in reality t.v. As much as a writer wants to get credit, and editor doesn't get any type of "writing" credit even thou they may have been the one to come up with certain areas of the show. Not only that.. I mean no offense  but if lets say "I love new york" has a writer.. I mean really, what are they doing? I mean, would that writer truely be worth more money?



and on a side note. I'm wondering  how this is gonna effect the consumer. If companys have to pay their employees more they will start charging us more. Will we have to pay to watch internet t.v.

As a person who's studied writing extensively, I can say that a good writer is hard to find.  They are underappreciated and overlooked, and resentment has been growing for some time, particularly now that reality tv is so....weirdly popular.  The execs are NOT a creative force.  They're corporate suits.  Most writers expect to maintain their living by recieving residuals, which are granted each time an episode is rerun.  My mother still gets residuals for ridiculous amounts of money.  Like 3 bucks.  Each time a show is replayed, the writer gets less.
Being a writer, for the most part, doesn't pay shit.  You might make $25,000 for one episode and then not work again all year.  There're not a lot of permanent staff writers at this point.  


All the studios need to do is find a way to resolve the issue of DVR and internet repeats in contracts.  Then this will be resolved. Truly, they will not be losing a huge amount of money.

I think that's what DListed reported yesterday, but after fully reading your post (which is what I should have done to begin with) I guess it might not be.

I'm going to go for a long shot and say if its not that, then she is hopped up on Gas Station trucker pills.  She's classy like that.

You're right.  I think it was the epinephrine that did her in.  I'm pretty sure they sell those in pill form at the gas station, they make you all jittery and pseudo "coked out" feeling. 

  I want to at least party with Brit Brit once before she kicks it.

Krissy Taylor died unexpectedly on July 2, 1995. She had allergies that congested her upper respiratory system and she used Primatene to combat shortness of breath. The epinephrine it contains can cause cardiac arrhythmia, but it was impossible to prove she had taken any just prior to her death. The resuscitator was improperly used on her and found in her esophagus instead of the airway to her lungs. Later studies of tissue slides from her heart uncovered evidence of a rare heart disease called arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia.

My only connection is the afternoon news anchor from WISH-TV Indianapolis.  Also the guy that owns the Mexican Radio station. 


I wanted to make sure I was correct about the Krissy Taylor thing and came across her memorial website.
Oldest sister is still a pretty gal, but I would have some major self confidence issues being related to those two and not looking a damn thing like them.
