It's official - Britney's lost custody.  For now.

LOS ANGELES - Britney Spears was ordered Monday to surrender custody of her children to ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Superior Court Judge Scott M. Gordon ruled that Federline will take custody of Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, beginning Wednesday "until further order of the court."

Earlier this month, Gordon said Spears engaged in "habitual, frequent and continuous use of controlled substances and alcohol" and ordered her to undergo random drug and alcohol testing twice a week as part of her ongoing custody dispute with Federline.

Spears also was previously ordered to meet weekly with a "parenting coach" who was to observe and report back to the court about her parenting skills. Both Spears and Federline must complete the court's "Parenting Without Conflict" class.

Spears, 25, and Federline, 29, were wed in October 2004. She filed for divorce last November and it became official in July. The two have joint custody of their sons, but Federline is seeking a greater share of custody.

Haha, that's what Perez said!  Sucks to be her, but I can't say I feel too badly for her.  She's just too irresponsible and out of control for her own good.

K-Fed’s plan worked!

Mark Vincent Kaplan, Federline’s attorney, paid a visit to Los Angeles Superior Court Monday morning to discuss Britney Spears driving illegally - without a valid drivers license - while her children were in the car with her this past weekend.

As a result, a Los Angeles judge on Monday took away Spears’ custody rights and ordered to turn over her boys to Federline by Wednesday, OK! magazine was the first to report.

They will remain with him until further notice.

Until now, Britney and Kevin have had 50/50 joint custody. Now, Federline will have 100% physical custody.

The ruling says:

“Respondent’s oral motion pursuant to section 214FC is granted and the matter proceeds as a closed hearing.  The court and all parties present confer on the record that the court makes its order as fully reflected in the notes of the official court reporter. The court’s  prior order including the orders made on September 28, 2007 remain in full force and effect with the following modification: Respondent is to retain physical custody of the minor children on Wednesday October  3rd, 2007 at 12 PM until further order of the Court. Repondent’s ex- parte application is noticed for October 3, 2007 at 1:30 PM in  Department 88.”

Did she fail one of her court-ordered random drug tests???? Did she not go to her court-ordered parenting classes????

How will Britney respond to this????

Her family needs to stage an intervention right now!

Better to say those lucky boys I think.  I doubt that she will be totally cut off from them.  I imagine she'll get visitation rights.  So, basically they'll be staying with Daddy and safe from crazy ass Mom.  Wonder what party Brit will show up at tonight.

When your mom is so bat-shit crazy that she makes K-Fed look like a model parent, I would hardly use the term lucky. 

I am sure, however, that she's gonna need a drink tonight, perhaps more than ever.

I just meant lucky to be away from her for their own safety.  That's a lot more than some children get.  I'm not really sure what sort of father Kevin is, but apparently the courts had no reason to see him as unfit.

well - i would have thought the same thing but over the past year Kevin has been the stable parent.  I mean while brittney was in vegas partying it up - her sons celebrated their birthday surrounded by friends and family and without their mother.  She has enough money to fly over and join the party and fly back to do the Mtv awards. 
She is constantly followed by the paparazzi, which isnt completely HER fault but im sure distresses the children.  She makes a spectacle of herself... shaving her head, beating the car with an umbrella, inviting the press when she served her mom with a restraining order, inviting them into the bathroom...   She promotes them. 
She needs to get it together.  Kevin at the very least, doesnt have the damn paparazzi shoved up his ass.  When he has the kids you dont hear anything about him or them. 

Im glad he has the kids.  Dads arent respected and i think that maybe kevin has had a bad rap (hahaha) but he's a dependable parent.

Brit's little sister jamie lynn can probably take better care of those babies than both brit and kfed.

Brit seriously needs to hit rock bottom, with a fucking thud before she wakes up. Addiction sucks, I've been there.  BUT, I can tell you this, if taking away my kids was involved, then there'd be no more of the drugs and drinking...ever!  An intervention isn't going to help her one bit.  She doesn't give a shit about anybody, even herself.

i agree, i think Z is gonna be a looker - there is something about her that is already sexy - sounds bad cuz shes a toddler - but you'll see...
and shiloh, well she was a gorgeous newborn and usually gorgeous newborns become not so cute kids.. but who knows.. 
i mean, how many ugly genes could brad and angelina have between them...? (oh wait - have you seen their sibling...oh poor shiloh)
