Another example: Ben Stilller goes out, he's wearing a hat, sunglasses, a hunting jacket INSIDE on a summer day in L.A.  This is not the way to travel incognito.  I probably won't recognize you in line at Ralphs if you aren't wearing the 'don't look at me' t-shirt.

My friend was an extra on Sex and The City and she said Sarah Jessica Parker was the rudest person in the world.  She refused to eat with everyone else and freaked out if people LOOKED at her.  On set. 

I hate when famous people bitch about the price of fame i.e being recognized in public.  It's really, really easy to not be famous.  If those people didn't recognize them, they wouldn't have anything.  Paparazzi suck, and while I think it's something celebs should expect, I also feel it should be legal for them to fight back.

But when people like Lindsey Lohan complain about the paps, I want to scream.  The bitch makes a huge deal wherever she goes so she can get attention.  She eats at Ivy, the biggest pap trap in L.A. There are a million places I go where I'll see famous people and no paparazzi to be found.

I agree with pretty much everything you said here. I know Tom Cruise was here and he was a royal ass.

As for the public persona and attention. I don't they should be hounded the way they are, but, as you said, know it will happen. I don't think their private homes and lives should be invaded though. The paps have no respect as a rule, but I know there are those who aren't as bloodthirsty as others. I don't think they should be approached in restaurants, games, family time. They may have asked for the fame and be totally enjoying it, but they still deserve to have a private life. I don't think they should get special favors, i.e., less jail time, no tickets, all that free shit...etc.

I agree whole-heartedly with the Lohan observation. She would just die if they didn't pay attention to her.

And I definitely agree that some act like the fans owe them not the other way around as it should be.

BEVERLY HILLS, California (AP) -- Lindsay Lohan was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Saturday after her convertible struck a curb, and investigators found what they suspect is cocaine at the scene, police said.

Lohan, 20, and two other people were in her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 when it crashed on Sunset Boulevard around 5:30 a.m., Sgt. Mike Foxen said. It appeared Lohan was speeding, Lt. Mitch McCann said at an afternoon news conference.

Officers at the scene found a "usable amount" of a drug tentatively identified as cocaine, McCann said. He declined to say where the drug was found other than to say Lohan was not carrying it.

Lohan, who spent time at a rehabilitation center earlier this year, was driven in another car to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries, McCann said. The two other people in her car were not hurt.

Officers received a 911 call about the accident and arrested Lohan at the hospital for investigation of misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, McCann said.

She was released from custody because she was admitted to the hospital, police said.

I think everyone has covered how, seeing this is Lindsey Lohan we're discussin, a monthly trip to a gyno is a perfectly logical confusion.  I'd go if I were her.  I'd go if I sat in the same booth at a club as Paris Hilton.

LL has said she went to rehab because her agent forced her.  She never intended to give up drinking.  Or, you know, coke.  Britney says she felt forced as well.  Pisses me off because they are taking up space in rehab that rock bottom crackheads need.  If you like doing drugs, then you're going to keep on doing them.

Lohan also got into some crazy fight with her latest conquest in NYC this week, apparently she was screaming and flapping around the SoHo grand.

But look at her family, they're druggy trash.

They both went for publicity stunts. There were pictures published not to long ago of Lindsey doing more coke than I could even imagine "In an average night Lindsay will do two and half grams of coke on her own."
I really wish someone could actually help her, you know send her to a REAL rehab maybe, not the fancy hotel rehab they go to where they spend an hour maybe there? Maybe if she does end up in jail like a real jail it would scare the shit out of her. Thats one of the reasons Paris getting off easy pisses me off. If they don't realize that there actions are going to effect them, were going to have a few new MDS post. I mean I will make every joke in the world along with everyone else, but I still want them to wake up and change their lives around. :|

To be honest, the behavior of people like Lindsey Lohan really isn't that different from a lot of city kids i knew growing up and living in NYC and L.A, and 'rehab' isn't going to help them...they're just young and dumb.  To be fair, I've done a lot of drugs in my time and I still drink a lot, but I don't consider myself to have any addictions...except to haribu sour gummies, that shit is tasty!

Rehab is for the people we see on Intervention....people who are literally forced to choose between life and death.  Go to rehab and clean up for die.  Lindsey's just a dumb party kid.  She'll be fine. she and her friends are just annoying cliche characters from Bret Easton Ellis novels.  It really pisses me off when people like that asshate guido from Desperate Housewives check themselves in to resort rehabs for a week after four days of binging....just go to Hawaii and detox or something, but rehab facilities are for people who deperately need the help.

Lindsey may do a lot of coke.....but so did A LOT of people i knew in NYC, probably about the same amount if not more.  As far as I can tell, cocaine is a personality substitute.  I've never done it because I already have a personality.  Coked up people just stand around together and talk about how awesome they are and how shit everyone else is and then it wears off in fifteen minutes and they're back in the bathroom.

same here. I was a huge fan of her from Parent Trap day's until the coke days... I still listen to her CD and I really was rooting for her...  I really just want her to get her life straight and be Lindsay again :| Kinda like I was hoping Britney would have done...

That certainly doesn't mean you can't have fun now and then, but your priorities are to your children now. That's who comes first,second and third.
