Robert Marzejka (24) allegedly killed his sister Danielle (18) and her friend Seren Chad (19) and he dumped their remains in garbage bags

According to friends they may have been found deceased a few hours ago but it's not officially confirmed yet & I don't want to make a death thread just in case it's not them

It'll really suck if it's true though, from what I can see of her FB she seemed pretty cool & had the sort of dark humour that would've fit right in here

There aren't any official missing alerts that I can link because police initially treated them as runaways, so here are links & a s/s of posts their friends made trying to locate them

Police were notified the first day but were treating it as a runaway case because they believed they'd taken a few random items with them - pillows & a blanket I think.

Friends have now posted that they found bodies in a shed during their own search of the property where Danielle lived.

The local scanner page is covering a death investigation involving "an 18 yr female & 19 yr old male"

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Police found two dead bodies Sunday night inside a shed in what Clinton Township police are investigating as a double homicide.

Police were alerted to a woman's body found inside the shed, and when they were able to secure a search warrant, they found two bodies inside -- an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man.

The discovery was made at the Rudgate Clinton Mobile Home Park near Groesbeck Road and Metro Parkway.

This is a post from one of the friends who'd been searching for them since the first day (fb is linked in my first post)

The Clinton Township Police Department has named a person of interest in a double homicide in the township.

Police said Robert Leo Marzejka, 24, is sought in connection to the deaths of an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man whose bodies were found in a shed behind the woman's home Sunday night.

Police were alerted to the the bodies overnight, said Capt. Richard Maierle. He declined to say who made the discovery or what prompted that person's visit to the home.

Police believe they have identified the victims, but investigators are not releasing their names because they still are in the process of notifying their families.

However, police said the female victim had been reported missing some days ago. The body was found on Culver, in Rudgate, a mobile home community north of 16 Mile and west of Groesbeck.

The deaths are the second and third homicides of the year in Clinton Township, Maierle said.

An autopsy on one of the victims was completed; the other is scheduled Tuesday, Maierle said.

I don’t know if it was the suspect, but they were found by one of her brothers.

The brother of the female victim found parts of their bodies in two black trash bags behind the home, police said.

The discovery was made at the Rudgate Clinton mobile home park near Groesbeck Highway and Metro Parkway in Clinton Township.

Capt. Richard Majerle said the case is being investigated as a double homicide. Police officers were called Thursday night to the home on Culver Drive.

The man living inside the home said he saw flies around the shed in the backyard and noticed a foul smell.

He opened the shed and found two black plastic bags, police said. When he opened one of the bags, he saw a body part, according to officials.

Majerle said five people lived inside the home: a father, two brothers and the two victims -- an 18-year-old woman and her 19-year-old boyfriend.

It'd be bad enough losing people you loved this way, but add the circumstances of the discovery & the realisation of who was responsible, & jfc how do you even begin dealing with that?

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Police have named a person of interest after the bodies of a young man and woman were found overnight inside a shed behind a home at the Rudgate Clinton Mobile Home Park near Groesbeck Highway and Metro Parkway in Clinton Township.

A man living inside the home found the bodies sometime overnight. He had smelled a foul odor outside and decided to check the shed, police said. He found the bodies inside a black plastic bag stuffed into the shed.

The victims are an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man. They had been missing for a couple of days, but no official missing persons report had been filed with police. However, the woman is part of a missing persons case.

The woman's brother, Robert Leo Marzejka, 24, has been named a person of interest in the case, according to police. He was driving a white 1999 Ford E-250 van with license plate DGM7658 and blue duct tape around teh driver's side rear window, police said.

Anyone who has seen Marzejka is asked to call the Clinton Township Police Department at 586-493-7802 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.

Friends of one victim's family said the two knew each other. It's unclear if they were friends of in a romantic relationship.

Police detectives were inside the home Sunday night combing for evidence. Police have not released much information on the investigation.

This is considered a double homicide investigation.

Nice too that police seem to be claiming there was no "official" mis pers report when there are days of posts from increasingly desperate friends conducting their own searches because the first officers they spoke to decided the missing pillows & blanket were signs they ran away, & not signs of a cleaned up crime scene

Yeah, there's a family friend posting that they lost their mum when they were young. Someone also said Robert has schizophrenia & may have stopped taking his medication. The other brother is Kevin

This is so fucking horrible for the dad & surviving brother.

I can't find the woman's comments now because I looked at too many articles. I'll edit a link in if I find it again

Found her, it's on the local police alert for Robert

Edit : missed your post, Dia, (I need to learn to hit refresh)

& I agree. People are such arseholes. The shit strangers have been posting on the fam/friends pages under their missing posts is horrible too.

It's one thing to wildly speculate in private groups & forums that fam/friends are unlikely to see, but to deliberately do it on their personal pages - & then fucking argue & defend those speculations with the people who actually knew them - & knew for a fact how they were found - is really fucking gross

Edit 2 : Nope, it was the wrong fb. Removed.

A suburban Detroit man wanted by police in the slayings of his sister and her boyfriend has been arrested at an Ohio library.

Clinton Township police say Robert Marzejka was arrested Wednesday, three days after the victims? bodies were found in trash bags. He?s charged with first-degree murder in Macomb County.

Police say Marzejka was arrested without a struggle at a library in Cincinnati. He?s being held Thursday at the Hamilton County, Ohio, jail while awaiting an extradition hearing Friday.

The bodies of 18-year-old Danielle Marzejka and 19-year-old Seren Bryan were discovered Sunday in a shed in Clinton Township.

MLive reports Danielle Marzejka and Bryan were last seen alive Aug. 23. Danielle Marzejka's father filed a missing person report when he hadn't heard from her two days later.

The next day, Danielle Marzejka's brother -- not the one charged -- noticed an odor coming from a small storage unit near the back of the family's property. He cut open a black trash bag and saw an arm.

Police determined the bodies belonged to Danielle Marzejka and Bryan before announcing that they were searching for Robert Marzejka.

The Macomb County Medical Examiner's Office hasn't officially released the cause of death.

Clinton Township police Capt. Richard Maierle told People that motive for the slaying is a mystery.

?What possessed him to do it?? Maierle says. ?We don?t have any idea.?

According to court records, Robert Marzejka was the subject of a petition for forced hospitalization due to mental illness in February 2015.

A 26-year-old Clinton Township man was convicted of two counts of first-degree, premeditated murder Friday for the brutal slayings of his sister and her boyfriend more than a year ago.

Robert Marzejka, who showed virtually no emotion throughout the trial, will be sentenced to life in prison without parole for the August 2018 slayings of Danielle Marzejka, 18, and Seren Bryan, 19, in the mobile home they all shared near Groesbeck Highway and Metropolitan Parkway.

The sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 17 before Judge James Biernat Jr. in Macomb County Circuit Court in Mount Clemens.

A jury deliberated less than 40 minutes following a six-day trial in rejecting options for the lesser offenses of second-degree murde
