. SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KGO) -- Two South Bay women who investigators say describe themselves as "best friends" are facing criminal charges -- accused of having sex multiple times with several minors.

Talia Sisco, 24, and Tina Pourani, 23, were both arrested Thursday on having unlawful sex with a minor.They were boasting and bragging about these sex acts with minors, using words such as 'sexual deviants,' such as 'going to hell' because of their actions," said Vicente Mitre, a detective with the Santa Clara County Sheriff's office.

The Santa Clara County Sheriff's office began investigating in April after getting tipped off about alleged inappropriate behavior.

Detectives say the women used social media to initiate contact with three boys - between the ages of 15 and 16.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — Two Santa Clara Valley women were arrested Thursday on suspicion of having unlawful sex with 15- and 16-year-old boys, a Santa Clara County sheriff's official said in a news release. Talia Sisco, 24, was arrested at her home in Saratoga and Tina Pourani, 23 was arrested at her residence in San Jose, according to sheriff's Sgt. Richard Glennon.

"Investigators believe there may be other victims in Santa Clara County and are asking people to come forward with information," Glennon said.

The sergeant said an investigation into the actions of the "self-described 'sexual deviant' best friends" began April 7 when allegations surfaced about sexual relationships between Sisco and Pourani and several boys who attend a local high school.


"Sexual assault investigators determined both suspects were 23 years old at the time of the sexual
encounters, while the males were 15 and 16 years old," Glennon said. "Investigators interviewed multiple parties during the course of the investigation and also collected extensive evidence of a graphic sexual nature."

The sheriff's office did not disclose the name of the high school attended by the boys, but said Sisco was serving as a student-teacher at Bernal Middle School at the time the investigation began.


When the Oak Grove School District learned about the allegations against Sisco, her access to observe at the school was ended, Glennon said.

"Investigators do not believe there are any victims from Bernal Middle School," Glennon said. "Furthermore, the identified victims have no connection to Bernal Middle School."

Sisco was booked into Santa Clara County jail Thursday on suspicion of multiple criminal charges including multiple counts of oral copulation of a minor, multiple counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and arranging a meeting with a minor to commit a sex offense.

Pourani was booked into county jail at the same time on suspicion unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and oral copulation of a minor.

Santa Clara County Sheriff Laurie Smith called the two women "predators" and said "the protection of our children is always a top priority for our agency."

"If there are other victims still out there, please come forward," Smith said.

The two women -- Talia Sisco, 24, of Saratoga and Tina Pourani, 23, of San Jose -- were arrested Thursday on suspicion of having sexual relationships with "several" 15-year-old and 16-year-old boys, Sheriff's Sgt. R. Glennon said.

"The protection of our children is always a top priority of our agency. I am grateful these predators were brought to justice," Sheriff Laurie Smith said.

Sisco and Pourani have been friends since they were classmates at Saratoga High School.

Sisco was a student-teacher at Bernal Middle School in the Oak Grove School District when the Sheriff's Office's investigation began in April. She was immediately removed from the school.

The victims all attend the same local high school, but the Sheriff's Office did not release which school they attend.

Deputies were alerted about the two women in April, and during the ensuing investigation, they collected "extensive evidence of a graphic sexual nature," Glennon said.

Investigators do not think any students of Bernal Middle School were victims.

Sisco was arrested at home on charges of oral copulation of a minor, unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and arranging to meet with a minor to commit a sex crime. She is being held without bail in jail.

Pourani was arrested at her home on charges of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and oral copulation of a minor. She was released from jail after posting $60,000 bail.

Investigators believe there may be more victims tied to the pair, who were sexually involved with boys between 15 and 16 years old, who they knew through family or friends, authorities said.

Talia Sisco, 24, of Saratoga, is being held without bail in the Elmwood women?s jail in Milpitas on multiple counts each of oral copulation of a minor and unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and arranging a meeting with a minor to commit a sex offense.

A second suspect, 23-year-old San Jose resident Tina Pourani, was arrested and booked counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and oral copulation of a minor. Pourani was released after posting $60,000 bail.


Authorities say Sisco and Pourani are best friends dating back to their days at Saratoga High School and first became the target of a criminal investigation April 7. That was around the time detectives reportedly got a tip implicating the two women in ?a series of alleged sexual relationships between these suspects and several boys attending a local high school,? according to the Sheriff?s Office.

Over the course of the investigation, detectives spoke to several people linked to the allegations, including the reported victims, and ?collected extensive evidence of a graphic sexual nature.? That material included a reference by at least one of the suspects describing themselves with the phrase ?sexual deviant,? the Sheriff?s Office said.

Sisco was a student teacher at Bernal Middle School when she came under investigation, but detectives do not believe any of the known victims attended the school. When the Oak Grove School District learned of the investigation it barred Sisco from the school, according to the Sheriff?s Office.


?I am grateful these predators were brought to justice,? Sheriff Laurie Smith said in a statement. ?If there are other victims still out there, please come forward.?


The Sheriff?s Office declined to release additional information about the case, citing the ongoing investigation and privacy of the reported victims.
