These children's mom, Kinsey Uribe, passed away unexpectedly last night. In October, their dad, Christian Uribe, passed away. They have lost both parents in 6 short months. These 3 children are now orphans and their grandparents are struggling with the emotional and financial costs of this double tragedy.

The youngest is a student in my 2nd grade class. I don't know of a sweeter, or kinder girl, always smiling. All of the children are, or have attended, the school where I teach and are well-loved in our community. We have created this account on behalf of the Uribe and Hancock families to help with the funeral expenses and to help ease their burden.

If we got additional funds beyond the cost of the funeral, that would be a wonderful blessing. As one little boy in my class sadly said today, "Now that her parents have both passed away, I'm not sure she will be able to go to college." Any additional money raised beyond what the funeral expenses are, will be put in a college fund for the children. While the money won't bring their mother or father back, it can bring financial relief and possibly a brighter future. Thank you for your donation. Every little bit helps.

This is so heartbreaking. These poor kids loosing both parents so close together. I wish I was in a position to donate.
