A suspended Pennsylvania school teacher was shot to death in her mother's driveway on Mother's Day.

Authorities say 32-year-old Rachael DelTondo had gone to an ice cream shop Sunday night and had just returned to the home in Aliquippa when she was shot multiple times in the upper body. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Last fall, she was suspended with pay from her teaching job at Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School after a confidential police report about her and a former student was leaked.

A little additional information in the above article. She had several death threats in relation to the investigation into the police department and local government.

The above link quotes the police report of the investigation of DelTondo and a young boy, she mention that Frank Catroppa is her fiance. He is a successful business owner selling wholesale meats. The next article I will post is a story on Frank's brothers arrest for selling drugs. The comments on that story sort of paint the Catroppa family as mafia types. They also discuss curruption and dirty cops in the comments. She was assisting the State police investigating corruption of city offices. I think she got whacked by the Aliquippa mob.

I read the comments, but had no idea he was a judge.

DelTondo was killed after being dropped off by a friend that she went out for ice cream with. That friend was the daughter of the officer that found DelTondo in the car with the young boy.

I read somewhere that her engagement was called off. Her family apparently went to the media when the bridal shop wouldn?t refund her money for the dress or something like that.

This case is freaking crazy. It could literally be anybody.

She was a CI for the state police because everybody local sucks.
Her ex was in the mob....probably. And he’s connected to the local LE
She was set to testify in a secret jury against the local police.
She was caught in a car with a 17yr old, the report was not reported until a year later and she lost her job. She was in a possible relationship with the 17 yr old and his brother. She was with the cops daughter (the cop who caught her with the 17yr old) on the night she was murdered. The cops wife was served a search warrant.

    Oh boy. Crazy.

So maybe she was hooking up with the cop too & he busted her with the 17 yr old when he was checking up on her? & then his wife found out about their affair so she leaked the police documents that she was to access via her husband's employment & eventually either the husband or wife - or both, blamed her for the police dept fallout & shot her - which might explain why their daughter says she saw & heard nothing despite being at the scene?

Pa. police chief put on leave, escorted out amid teacher's homicide probe
Updated 10:36 PM; Posted 10:34 PM

The Mother's Day shooting death of Rachael DelTondo remains a mystery in Aliquippa, Pa., but the ripples from the case are still rocking the city's police department.

In the latest development, Aliquippa Police Chief Don Couch has been placed on leave and stripped of his gun, badge, car and keys to the office at Wednesday night's city council meeting, both KDKA and WPXI in Pittsburgh report.

WPXI adds that Couch had to be escorted out of the meeting by four police officers.

The move, which council members are calling a 'personnel matter' without further comment, comes in wake of the Mother's Day killing of a cyber school teacher who was shot up to 10 times in front of her mom's Aliquippa, Beaver County, home.

Rachael DelTondo, age 33, was gunned down in a hail of bullets that evening after having just returned to her mother's following an outing for ice cream.

As it turned out, DelTondo had numerous ties to the police department.

Back in 2016, DelTondo was the subject of an anonymous leak of an Aliquippa police report that said she had been found in a parked car with a 17-year-old former male student. No charges were ever filed.

However, DelTondo was suspended from her teaching job with the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School in wake of the leak last November.

And the incident became part of an ongoing investigation of the police department by the State Attorney General's office, state police, and federal authorities, according to KDKA.

In addition, an Aliquippa Police sergeant, Kenneth Watkins, was placed on leave following the DelTondo shooting.

At the time, Chief Couch said Watkins was close with DelTondo and her family, and Watkins being placed on leave was not for disciplinary reasons.

However, Couch would not address speculation that Watkins' teenage daughter might have been a witness to the crime as she was reportedly with DelTondo on the night of the shooting.

Search warrants in the case were served on both Watkins' wife and daughter, seeking social media and private message data. The now-20-year-old student who DelTondo was fired over but had remained friends with also has been the subject of search warrants in the case.

    The investigation continues.

Now they have a third guy as chief. This is a dept with only 12 officers.

Anyway, Joseph was arrested for sending sexual messages to a teen= the same teen, Lauren Watkins, who was last seen with Rachael. The new chief just appointed, Chief Sealock- was sued along with Watkins a few years ago for beating a black man.
ALIQUIPPA — An Aliquippa man is suing the city and two Aliquippa police officers, alleging that they attacked him while he was standing on a street corner.

According to the federal lawsuit filed on Thursday, Daniel W. King, no age or address given, was standing near the intersection of Davis and Wykes streets in Aliquippa at noon Sept. 22, when police Sgt. Robert Sealock and patrolman Kenneth Watkins approached him “in a threatening manner and shouted obscenities at him.”
In the suit, King alleges that Sealock then grabbed him by the throat, threw him to the ground and kicked him repeatedly. King moved to avoid being kicked in the groin, the suit says, causing Sealock to fall and hurt his ankle. Watkins then used a Taser at least four times on King’s back, neck and side, and threatened to kill King if he didn’t stop screaming, according to the lawsuit.

The cop's wife, Stephanie, works for the Office of the Inspector General.

News articles say Rachael was a family friend of the Watkins family. I'm not sure what type of friend tho. Search warrants have been issued for Stephanie and Lauren's phones and social media accounts.

This is probably the only case I've ever been stumped on because there are so many players involved. A lot of possible motives.

This is definitely wacky. I feel badly for Rachael's loved ones as all this mess is distracting from the fact she was murdered.

    New information:

A handwritten letter, allegedly containing eyewitness details of school teacher Rachael DelTondo's murder, has been discovered, DailyMail.com and Beaver Countian, a local website, have learned exclusively in a joint investigation.

DelTondo, 33, was gunned down on the driveway of her Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, home on May 13. No one has been arrested or named a suspect in her murder.

Days after DelTondo's death, an inmate at Beaver County Jail claimed to have received a letter containing details of the crime, allegedly written and signed by an individual who was interviewed as part of the murder investigation.

The letter, in part, reads: 'I heard the gunshots and seen her fall… I don't want to be part of this. They won't send me [to jail] if I tell them what really happened.'

Acting Pa. police chief removes department from teacher homicide probe
By Jonathan D. Silver and Shelly Bradbury / Pittsburgh Post-Gazette 19 hrs ago

Aliquippa police are no longer involved in investigating the murder of a teacher last month following a decision Wednesday by the acting chief to remove his department from the probe.

?I made that decision yesterday. I just think it?s the best move right now,? Acting Chief Robert Sealock said Thursday without elaborating.

The chief declined to provide a specific reason for his decision and referred to an open letter he drafted.

That four-paragraph signed statement does not give any explanation beyond saying the chief was ?recusing? the department from investigating the fatal shooting May 13 of Rachael DelTondo, 33, in her driveway.

?Moving forward, I will make myself available and provide information and assistance to any and all agencies in the proactive investigation of this troubling and senseless crime,? the letter states. ?I have full confidence that the investigating agencies will unravel this crime and will prevail in bringing the guilty culprit or culprits to justice.?

Investigators believe Ms. DelTondo, who had been suspended from her job as an elementary-level teacher with The Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, was shot multiple times at close range and was the killer?s intended target, police said. Ms. DelTondo was alone when she was killed, police said.

The investigation has led police to execute numerous search warrants, mine Facebook data and phone records, and look into Ms. DelTondo?s friends and current and former lovers in an effort to uncover a motive for her slaying and find her killer.

Beaver County District Attorney David Lozier, who said Thursday that his office?s detectives have been and continue to be in charge of the homicide investigation, commended the two Aliquippa detectives who had been working the case.

He said the decision to remove the Aliqiuppa Police Department from the probe was Chief Sealock?s, did not involve input from the DA, and was an internal matter.

?He?s going to run his department the way he needs to. He?s down three people so he?s under a lot of pressure,? Mr. Lozier said, referring to recent personnel upheaval at the department.

As for the status of the DelTondo case, Mr. Lozier said, ?I?m comfortable where we are in the investigation, but we have to wait for forensics to verify certain facts before we make an arrest ...The electronic, the DNA, fingerprints ? all that takes weeks, sometimes months.?

Asked if investigators had a suspect, he said, ?I can?t say that.?

Mr. Lozier said he met personally with the chief Thursday morning to offer congratulations and assistance. He said he became aware Wednesday that the department was leaning toward pulling out of its involvement with the DelTondo case.

?There were lots of meetings yesterday. I think there was a full day of meetings between the chief, his personnel, city council,? Mr. Lozier said.

Chief Sealock?s decision comes amid a turbulent time for the small department, which went through three chiefs in three days. Last week the city council voted unanimously to place Chief Donald A. Couch Jr. on paid administrative leave so an unspecified ?accusation? could be investigated.

His replacement, Assistant Chief Joseph Perciavalle III, was arrested Friday, charged with sending a sexually explicit text to a 17-year-old girl who is a witness in Ms. DelTondo?s homicide.

Separately, Sgt. Kenneth Watkins was placed on paid leave the day after Ms. DelTondo?s death because he, his wife and 17-year-old daughter were close friends with the slain teacher and needed time to grieve, according to then-Chief Couch.

Sounds like great news until you investigate more and discover all they did was turn it over to Beaver county detectives. Beaver County- who've they always worked side by side with.

These officials don't even know how to hide their corruption.
This case is a defense attorney's dream. Whoever they arrest (if they do) there is so many reasons to question it.

Shit you can make Alex Jones talk about this story and this time Infowars will have more credibility than the law enforcement in Beaver county.

I am following this one! I am just amazed at how corrupt an entire town is. Why do I think an innocent will be charged for her murder, in an effort to cover up some of the corruption?

Attorney in DelTondo murder case calls 'Fake Alibi' t-shirt 'surprising'

Instagram post by girlfriend of victim's ex-fiance called into question

WTAE Updated: 10:02 PM EDT Jul 4, 2018

    Reporter

    PITTSBURGH ?
An outfit worn by one of the men questioned following the Mother's Day murder of 33-year-old Rachael DelTondo is being called "surprising" by one of the attorneys involved with the case.

In an Instagram post captioned "Fake Alibi" on Megan Barbuto's profile, she is seen with a man who is wearing a shirt that also reads "Fake Alibi."

Barbuto is the girlfriend of DelTondo's ex-fiance, Frank Catroppa, who was questioned by police after DelTondo's killing.

After seeing the post, the attorney for Sheldon Jeter Jr., another man questioned after the shooting death, sent Pittsburgh's Action News 4 this statement:

"The sight of that shirt obviously surprised my client, as it would most people with knowledge of this case. And while I am sure the fact that he was wearing it was coincidental, it showed a drastic lack of respect to his fiance, who was murdered, taken in the context that he himself was questioned and remains a questionable figure to many people."

Beauver County District Attorney David Lozier said he doesn't see any substance to the Instagram post. He said Frank Catroppa is not a suspect and never was a suspect.

Catroppa's attorney, Stephen Colafella, did not respond to multiple requests for comment from Pittsburgh's Action News 4.

Investigators have yet to name any suspects or charge anyone in the May 13 killing.
