Never EVER send Tricia or any other WS moderator money. If you ever had a chance to read the depositions of Sue's lawsuit against her you would see she is a sheister. According to transcripts WS pulls in about $40k a year. She alerted Sue to a member that was well heeled and Sue took it to mean that they could get money from him. That's not what Sue thought the website should be doing. It's one of the reasons she left. The other being TG is NUTS, Sue's lawyer told her to just drop the case in order to be free of Tricia. If you read the transcripts you'd find that TG pleads the fifth when asked, several times, about her gambling. Almost all of the WS administration is a bunch of sheisters. WS is in no danger of not being able to pay it's fees. When Sue was there the guy who ran the technical side of the website paid the fees for the website domain himself, out of his own pocket. When he found out about the S**T Tricia was doing he left, as did a bunch of mods and former WS members. I think a lot of them are at Sue's new site. I think it's crimewatchers.net. I just checked, it is. I thought it might be .com, but it's .net. When I get around to it I'll probably join.
There was a guy who was defending Chase Merrit on his website. He got ahold of the depositions and posted them on his site. If you can find them read them. WS is a scam.

Just wanted to comment that there's now a link on WS where you can "thank the hardworking mods" by sending Tricia money via Paypal. Ugh, just feels so gross and skeezy.

I joined WS about 13 years ago (same as you, before I knew what a hot mess it is) and they let me use a hotmail account, so I guess they have changed things. I go over there every once in a blue moon to see what they are up to, then I remember why I didn't stay over there...and back out quietly the same way I came.
