Okay it is the right guy

Adam Roger Yerry died at his home in Los Angeles, California on February 22, 2018. He was 32 years old.

Adam was born in Rhinebeck, New York on May 21, 1985. He was the beloved son of the late Roger Alan Yerry, MD and Donna Buccino Yerry.

He attended Rhinebeck High School, from which he graduated in 2003. He was co-captain of the varsity basketball team during high school and was awarded MVP in his senior year. He also played club basketball with the Hudson Valley Edge. He had a close circle of friends in Rhinebeck, known as the “baker’s dozen,” with whom he enjoyed many adventures.

He went on to study economics and business at Lafayette College, with a concentration in international economics and finance, graduating in 2007. He was a member of the Zeta Psi fraternity.

After college, Adam worked in the financial industry in Manhattan, specializing in Japanese equity sales. He spent five years at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, where he became a vice president, before serving as a senior vice president in the pan-Asia equity sales division at Jefferies LLC.

He traveled extensively, visiting many countries in Europe, Asia, South America and the Caribbean, but his favorite place was on the beach with a book. He was a voracious reader, and was well versed in history and politics. He was also a television and movie enthusiast, known to binge watch TV series and could always be relied upon to give viewing recommendations. He enjoyed fine dining and shopping at Barneys.

Adam is survived by his mother Donna Buccino Yerry; his sisters Eliza and Sara; half siblings Andrew, Mark, and Susan; his girlfriend Michelle Sagarminaga; his niece Ivy; his aunts Laurel Buccino and Joyce Yerry Laurie; his Uncle Steve Geddes, and his faithful dog and companion, Pepper.

Adam will be remembered for his unfaltering dedication to family, his warm smile and deep laugh, his generosity, his luxurious locks, his kind and gentle spirit, his sense of humor, and his sharp intellect.

Calling hours will be held at the Dapson-Chestney Funeral Home, 51 West Market Street, Rhinebeck, NY on Sunday March 4, 2018 from 2 PM to 5 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday March 5, 2018 at the Good Shepherd Church in Rhinebeck at 10:30 AM.

Burial will follow in the Rhinebeck Cemetery where Adam will be laid to rest next to his father.
