Brent D. Hagedorn, 44, of Kent, Ohio, passed away suddenly Thursday, February 15, 2018. Brent was born in Toledo, Ohio, on November 20, 1973 to Daniel and Linda (Stieben) Hagedorn. With Brent, it was always about the quality of life; work hard and play hard. He enjoyed the woods, cabins and trails in the UP, a good Tribe game, fishing and everything on the water. He was also quite the cook. Never to have less than one boat, he would be on the water to cruise on a Wednesday at 4 pm as often as taking the kids tubing, skiing or sailing on the weekends. There was never a doubt that Brent lived life to the fullest each and every day. He loved big and never allowed anyone to wonder how much he cared. A gifted, educated professional, his business and sales leadership talents were shared with various companies over the years, always leaving his mark.

Brent is survived by his best friend and wife, Tami; his loving, supportive parents, Daniel and Linda Hagedorn; grandfather, Floyd Hagedorn; his five children, Hailie, Gabriel, Noah, Reuben and Abram and two stepdaughters Kallahan and Kamden; he was immensely proud of all their academic, artistic, and athletic abilities, but more so of their character; his lifetime co-conspirator and sister Julie (Steve Case), nephew Maxwell; goddaughter & niece, Maren; and his sidekick silver lab, Grizzly. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Hannah.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 12:00 pm until time of celebration of life service at 5:00 pm. Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers may be directed to Hagedorn Children Education Fund in care of the funeral home.
