I've heard the hunting location was 20 minutes away. Helena, Alabama. I'm too lazy to google maps because I'd have to figure out where she lived first.
I also heard he was there when she was found, before the police came, but that may be rumor.
Yes. a witness told the reporter that the husband arrived on the scene and then left.
http://www.al.com/news/birmingham/in...a_mothers.htmlNeighbors said they didn't hear any commotion Friday night or Saturday morning at the West home. One man, who asked that his name not be used, said his daughter made the gruesome discovery Saturday morning when she was heading to work.
She saw the woman in the roadway and went back home to get her father. He said West was face down, partially in the street and partially in the grass of the across-the-street neighbor's yard. He touched her back to see if she was breathing, and she was not, he said.
The witness said West was wearing only a sports bra, and that she was bleeding from the head. A cell phone was nearby and a green liquor bottle was on top of it, as if it had been placed there, he said. West's husband was briefly on the scene, and then neighbors called 911. Police have not confirmed that account.
Yeah that's close. They live in Calera. About 20 minutes, like you said ... maybe a little more. It's a straight shot up I-65.
His fb is back up. It's mostly locked down, but he was posting pics of the two of them yesterday.
I wonder where their daughter was through all this. Spending the night with a friend, maybe? And does he have kids from a previous marriage or something? Because there are other kids in some of their fb pics.
Useless info I guess, but both Jameson and that fakey brand of absinthe are green bottles, guess that was one they picked up earlier that was found on her phone.
I'm gonna go with accidental death.
Hubby passes out, she continues to drink mixing the two. Alcohol poisoning was happening to her body. She goes outside because she's so messed up and doesn't know what she's doing. Puts her shit down and goes to stand up. BOOM. She completely passes out (or goes unconscious right away or has a seizure) and hits the road with her head at dead weight. Cold temptures that night along with drinking too........hypothermia
There's no telling how long she laid there before she was found.
It's possible the head wound everybody mentions wasn't even what killed her.
I think that's why husband hasn't been arrested. They're waiting on tox to come back to find out specifically what her COD was.
I like your theory Berm.
I think the husband may have clocked her.
That's what I thought at first too, but it seems like the ME's office would've been able to tell right away if it was blunt force trauma from a beating???
Then you add in the fact that the house was never roped off with the yellow tape. All the neighbors have been taking pictures of everything....if that place was roped off, it would've been posted. If he hit her or killed her, it seems the police would have been gathering evidence from that house.
Also, I have not seen one article where the police say "if you know something, please call this number"
Not what I was expecting, though I guess I'm not surprised. I was betting on an accident.

I’m not shocked but I really started to think it was some kind of crazy accident.
