It's a strange infliction.. Just pat him on the head and say "Yes, Your PS3 is vastly superior.".. Just don't tell him WHAT it's vastly superior at:

HAHAHA!!!!!
I haven't enjoyed playstation since the first silent hill game haha
Also, I've dealt with my red ring, we had a talk and he doesn't come around no more
I picked up a used copy of Tiger Woods 08 the other day. I never realized how much better the newer ones are after this one.
I'm also playing Forza 3 which is just outstanding and Final Fantasy 13. I'm only 2 hours into Final Fantasy so far and I can't say that I'm impressed.
woot!
Report - Call of Duty: Vietnam Confirmed
Next title from Treyarch switches up locations
by Jim Reilly
April 29, 2010 - According to a report from VentureBeat, the next Call of Duty title developed by Treyarch will be set in the Vietnam era. Persistent rumors over the past year suggested the game, set for release in 2010, has shifted away from the traditional World War II setting.
The report claims the game is titled Call of Duty: Vietnam; however than might not exactly be the final name as we have yet to see a game in the series with its location in the title.
"Tomorrow you will see a teaser for this year's Call of Duty game," said Thomas Tippl, chief operating officer of Activision Publishing, in the report. "Treyarch is working on it and taking the Call of Duty franchise to the next level."
Activision declined to comment on the report. The teaser trailer is set for debut on Friday at 12:40 AM EST on Spike TV.

Hmmm kind of want! If they add Charley zombies then it will be a definite buy.
Split/second Demo is out on Xbox...
It feels like they provided the most basic demo they could, because everyone was comparing them to Blur and saying 'Blur is awesome, split/second cant even put out a demo!". It has potential, and I will buy it, But I think that Blur is going to be much better.

  Touche.
Luckily, I thought my xbox was going to RRoD, but it ended up fixing it's own issues.
defiantly hyped for COD : Vietnam but I played MW2 for the first time in like a month yesterday (I was playing everyday) because I've been so wrapped up in borderlands and when I got into a game it was very confusing lol
I swear they should make all video games have the same control config
is it even going to be Call of duty anymore? didn't some major breakup happen with infinity ward and activision?

Early this morning a site for Call of Duty: Black Ops went live, now Activision has officially confirmed the game, saying it hits stores on Nov. 9, 2010 and will be developed by Treyarch.
In their press release Activision calls the game, the follow-up to the biggest entertainment launch in history, which can only be Modern Warfare 2. The release says that the game will "introduce fans to the elite world of Black Ops" as the Treyarch-developed game "takes players behind enemy lines in an entirely new chapter in the groundbreaking and record-setting, No. 1 first-person action series of all-time."
"We can't wait for our community to experience Call of Duty: Black Ops," said Mark Lamia, Studio Head for Treyarch. "We have focused our entire studio on this game, with dedicated multiplayer, single-player and co-op teams creating the most intense, gripping and riveting experience possible for our fans on all fronts."
So that's behind enemy lines, this year, Treyarch developed and, seemingly, modern setting.
For more information, visit www.callofduty.com/blackops immediately following the game's appearance on GameTrailers TV on Spike this Friday and also, via Twitter at JD_2020.

I've been thinking about playing MW2 online recently. But my ex just got her first Xbox about a month ago, and has been playing MW2 quite a bit (Nearly non-stop the last few days)... So I am hesitant to play it and be the 'noob', as I will never live it down.
Plus, Last shooter I played online (Halo 3), I became "friends" with a creepy kid who became seemingly obsessed with me for 3 weeks, before logging off and never returning.
Test Drive Unlimited 2 is looking great:

I've been playing the Halo: Reach beta. I have never been that good at multiplayer Halo, but this is a blast and I can hold my own a little better.
This coming Tuesday Alan Wake and Red Dead Redemption is coming out. I think I'll end up buying both of them.

[/quote]Reviews are ranging from great to mediocre, but one review I read on Kotaku sold me on it. It will also be a nice change of pace from FPS.
I was thinking about pre-ordering Alan Wake (The LE version), but I decided not to because I have a few games I am buying this month already and can't really afford to buy more. I'll definitly rent Alan Wake, though.
I finally bought Left 4 Dead 2 a week or two ago (for $12).

My OH is eagerly waiting for this too. I think it looks smart.

Our USB hub stopped working so we couldn't plug all the controllers in the new PS3 for Rock Band last night. The new one only has 2 ports as opposed to the old one with 4. So the old one came out, the one we fixed. It's working perfectly. :-D

Has anyone played DJ Hero? It's £40 in Gamestation and we're thinking of picking it up for a laugh. It might be fun when we have people round.
