You should contact Rockstar and suggest that the next main character be a woman.  You can be a woman in the online part where you go against others online.  Right now I'm concentrating on the main story but maybe I'll let it take the backburner while I romance some ladies.

Nice, that'll run the shit out of BF2. The 2 gigs of ram  will make a huge difference on the game load time. BF2 is much more system intensive than BF1942 ever thought about being....

Yeah BF1942 ran fine on this before I even updated the card.  I was going to do more RAM but I've read up on Vista 32 bit and seems like it wouldn't be worth it.

I tried teh COD4 demo last night, visually stunning but way too arcade like for me.

I just put together my current machine, its a beast though I wish I had waited a little bit cuz prices on all my current stuff dropped alot as new stuff released (but I guess that always happens no matter when you buy).

I love BF2 because it incorporates 64 person mutliplay (I never play single player)  planning and strategy, squads where you can spawn on the squad leader so that your group can stay together, vehicles, different classes, a ranking system, a great variety of maps and team work in taking objectives. Every other FPS just seems to be a bunch of run and gun and instant res pawn.  I play with my clan and we play different soldier classes to support each other and coordinate through a vent server. For example, I might be having trouble with taking a flag and I can call Kejami in for air support (That fucker is bad in an Apache) We actually work together and take out objectives strategically, and everyone is in it for the fun, we have a great time.

I don't get that from single player fighting bots or the run and gun bullshit.


I'm real tempted to get COD4, but I hardly played COD2 because of the whole run and gun thing. I've heard that there are some good strategic servers on COD4 where the people do work together....

The only card that screwed up and I ever had to return was a BFG, since then I've  usually get PNY.  I would however try BFG again....

Been thinking about upgrading to an 8800GT, but I would have to get a new mobo as well as my PCIE is only 8X and they require 16X.

CoD4 is sweet. Get it.
There's a lot of run and gun on Halo 3, but I play SWAT with guys who call the map and we do strategic shit which makes it SO much more fun for me.

Based on your recommendation I will get it, plus Mike is looking for players to play with. Most of our clan plays BF2 but some of them are getting into COD4. So do you play any BF2? Care to join Kejami and I in a game sometime?
