All nine people on board were killed when a Puerto Rico Air National Guard cargo plane, on what was to be its last flight before retirement, crashed on Wednesday near Savannah, Georgia, scattering fiery debris over a highway and railroad tracks, authorities said on Thursday.
Officials said the plane, a Hercules WC-130, was believed to be around 50 years old but was in good mechanical condition, and was making what had been scheduled to be its last flight.

Puerto Rico grounds aircraft similar to WC-130 that crashed in Georgia
This reminds me of the National Airlines cargo plane crash where the load shifted on takeoff. My guess is that either that happened, or something wasn't secured by maintenance that caused the elevator not to work.Puerto Rico Gov. Ricardo Rossello has grounded all aircraft similar to the WC-130 that crashed in Georgia, killing nine members of the Puerto Rico National Guard, until the investigation into the crash is concluded.
Rossello tweeted Friday that he met with the territory's adjutant general and asked for a report on the condition of the aerial fleet of the Puerto Rico Air National Guard.
People around Savannah seem to be very blase.
I was working an event and there were these girls asking people if they wanted to sign up for Xfinity.
The people they'd ask would tell them that they had Comcast, but it wasn't working, because of the plane crash.
I think I'd care more about the people's deaths instead of my cable not working.
