Gaffney, SC - - Cameron Hunter Holt, 30, of 1019A Robbs School Road, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 4, 2017 at his residence.

Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of Lewis Kelly Holt and Julie Faulkner Holt of Gaffney. Cameron was a graduate of Gaffney High School and Spartanburg Technical College and employed by T.C. Industrial as a welder. He loved the outdoors, especially hiking and white water rafting. He was a car enthusiast and S. C. Gamecocks fan.

Surviving in addition his parents are a brother, Weston Holt of Gaffney; a sister, Danielle Holt of Boiling Springs, SC; paternal grandmother, Christine Holt of Mooresboro, NC; a niece, Piper Barrett; a nephew, Jacob Holt Freidberg; an aunt, Lou Ann Wright and husband, Eric of Gaffney; two uncles, John Faulkner of Spartanburg and Chuck Holt of Columbia; cousins, Erica Wright of Gaffney, Jordan Boynest of Shelby, NC, Lydia Boynest of Boone, NC, Charles Holt and wife, Kaylee, of Sylva, NC, Jamie Holt, of Sylva, NC and Joseph McCraw of Alpine, NC; step-grandfather, Werner Steinberg of Spartanburg; numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and numerous 2nd cousins.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wildlife Conservation Society, Attn: Donations, 2300 Southern Boulevard, Bronx, NY 10460.

The family will be at the home of Christine Holt, 2165 McCraw Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114.

No I saw on here someone said he got an infection from a chemical injection or chemical burn but that's all I have heard. Don't know how true it is though. Camo was a damn good dude
