Not to be blunt, but when you see a motorcycle in someone's cover photos, your mind goes there.

On November 10, 2017, my brother Jeromy Mearing was taken from us way before his time because someone didn't look twice. They pulled out in front of him and he t-boned them. He didn't even have time to react. He leaves behind a wife and children. I beg everyone reading this to share it that way maybe we can prevent another family from having to go through this heartache. Please ALWAYS look twice. You have more time than motorcyclists have lives.

    Very sad.

I took defensive driving courses a couple of years in a row and they always stressed the odd phenomenon of only being on the lookout for cars. Meaning, you may look both ways but since you are checking for cars, your brain doesn't register a motorcyclist, bicyclist, or pedestrian right away. I thought that was interesting and I hope someone else does too.

    RIP Jeromy

I watched a Man hit and killed by a car. I walk for a living. I'm stupid careful because of this. I almost get hit just about every day. Nobody pays attention to anyone. Car, motorcycle or pedestrian.

People need to stop being in such a hurry. Be safe Boston, I know here in Dallas - walkers are SUPPOSED to have the right away and as a driver, I know this and do my best to always follow this, but there are some real asses who don't.

I was working as a bank teller years ago and was working the drive thru window. I saw a man on a motorcycle get hit by a car that was leaving a store parking lot. It was traumatic seeing someone fly and land like that knowing they weren't going to survive. I felt awful for him.

It's very traumatic indeed. Really puts in to perspective what a car can do to a person and how it could happen at any time. Just, done. Over. Pretty scary

I had a friend die the exact same way. I always make sure I look now.

I can't be the only one out here, I'm just not. Don't worry about it. Mind your fucking business.
