There's a bunch of controversy over Taylor Swift's new video. Some people think it's a bunch of Hollywood feuding. Others are offended by the connection to violence and revenge. And then, there is the ample Illuminati imagery throughout - She details the different personas she has been forced to take on through Monarch Programming; the whole song is a Phoenix song - death and rebirth into something so far removed from her origins.

Why bother when you can make bank being lazy? For EONS the music business hasn't been about music. I majored in Music Business so I got the pleasure of learning all about how to screw musicians (aka people like me) out of as much money as humanly possible.
It's since become more tour related to make money, but she'll make a killing off of barely lifting a finger (music wise).
If you want REAL music and musicians, you go to local clubs and coffee shops. Those are the actual musicians that put their heart and soul in to shit. Everything else is 90% visual and image and 10% actual musical work. Which 8% of that 10 is ripping off other material and slapping a different drum machine beat behind.
It's tragic, really.

The bands I'm discovering and finding myself really liking are relegated to playing small venues because most of them aren't exactly what you'd call radio-friendly these days. Amazing musicians like Gogol Bordello and The White Buffalo. These are bands that do pour their heart and soul into their music. It's good for me, because I get to see them in pretty small and intimate settings. I just bought both of their newest albums, and in my opinion they are light years better than anything Taylor Swift could ever aspire to put out. But that's my opinion, because apparently a lot of people like Swift's albums.Original thought is so exhausting
