I didn't know what Antifa was. I had to look it up. (not that I believe it. Just posting to show how some classify it)

    From urban dic

    Antifa
    Short for (militant) anti-fascists.

Middle-class champagne socialist/communist/anarchist white boys who don't like nationalists or fascists. They consider themselves to be rebelling against the establishment, whilst upholding all of its ultra-politically correct views.

Antifa only dislike racism when its carried out by whites, and do not have the bottle to stand up against anti-white racism; leading to many people on the right to refer to them as 'traitors'. I'd rather just call them morons.

Most are teenagers and university students who grow out of the fad when they start paying taxes.
    http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=antifa

    Then you have Vanguard America.
uh, I'm not linking their web site. YUCK but here's what wiki says about them

Okay. I thought that was WTF too.
Seems like it's part of the whole racist movement. Something about keeping white music white.
In 2005, National Vanguard showcased the pop-music duo Prussian Blue, made up of twin sisters from Bakersfield, California, Lynx and Lamb Gaede, whom the organization hoped would "be breaking new ground... creating an entire genre of pro-White music" that will cross over to mainstream audiences.[10][11] Their mother, April, is a writer and activist for National Vanguard.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nation..._organization)

Anyway, to get a little OT- that twin duo. WTFFFF?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prussian_Blue

About half of the songs on Prussian Blue's first album are covers of other songs put out by other white pride bands with one (Lamb Near the Lane) co-written by David Lane and a few of the others by Ian Stuart Donaldson and Ken McLellan. One of their infamous cover songs, "Victory Day" was a covered song from the racist band, RAHOWA. Two of Prussian Blue's songs on their first album are dedicated to famous German Nazi and white nationalist activists, including Rudolf Hess and Robert Jay Mathews. One of those songs, dedicated to Donaldson, Mathews, Hess, and William L. Pierce, which was written by Lamb, is "Sacrifice".[5]

Another song, "Gone With the Breeze," is dedicated to Mathews. The cover songs on their album invoke ideas like Valhalla and Vinland, taken from Norse mythology and sagas. Several songs, including "Victory Day," refer to a holy war waged under the banner of Creativity.

The lyrics to their song "The Stranger" are taken from a Rudyard Kipling poem of the same name.

Prussian Blue also released a cover of a song called "Ocean of Warriors" in mp3 format, dedicated to white participants in the 2005 Sydney, Australia race rioting.[13]

In 2006, a compilation album was released through the far right National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD) titled For The Fatherland

Charlottesville mayor on Trump: 'Look at the campaign he ran'

Charlottesville Democratic mayor Michael Signer said Sunday that President Donald Trump had emboldened organized racists who caused the racially charged violence in his city over the weekend.

"Look at the campaign he ran," Signer said on CNN's "State of the Union."

Signer called on everyone to join together to recognize and combat racism, adding that the effort should include Trump.

“I thought it had something to do with Trump. Trump’s not a white supremacist,” Samantha Bloom said, before becoming visibly upset as she learned of the injuries and deaths at the rally “He had an African-American friend so ...,” she said before her voice trailed off.

Yeah I once had an African-America President so......

Ohio man faces murder count in Charlottesville vehicle attack

The vehicle that struck the crowd of counter-protesters at the "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville was purchased from a Greater Cincinnati car dealership and last registered in Ohio, online records show.

The Ohio license plate number seen in photographs taken by TheDaily Progress of Charlottesville tracks to a vehicle identification number of a 2010 Dodge Challenger last registered in Maumee, Ohio. Documents show Fields has a residence in Maumee.

A Carfax report shows the vehicle was purchased by its latest owner in June 2015 from Kerry Toyota in Florence, Ky. The title for the vehicle was updated the next month in Maumee.

The vehicle was not listed as stolen by the National insurance Crime Bureau as of Saturday afternoon. The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles also lists the vehicle as registered out of Lucas County, where Maumee is located.

Online records do not show any previous criminal history for Fields. He was cited for expired or unlawful license plates by Maumee police in May 2017, according to local court records.

Videos of the incident show the Challenger barreling into pedestrians at high speed and slamming into the back of a second vehicle. With the car's front badly damaged and its mangled bumper sticking out one side, the driver backs up a high speed for several blocks, then turns left and speeds off, chased by police.

Angela Taylor, a public information officer at the University of Virginia Medical Center, told USA TODAY that 20 patients were taken there and that one had died. The conditions of the other 19 were not yet determined.

Alt-Right Media Framed Wrong Person in Car Attack, Labeled Him ‘Anti-Trump Druggie’

Prominent alt-right media personalities and websites framed a Michigan man that one labeled an “anti-Trump druggie” for Saturday’s car attack on anti-racist protesters in Charlottesville, Va that killed one and injured 19 others.

Police said the suspect in the incident is 20-year-old James Alex Fields Jr. from Maumee, Ohio. That is not the name of the man identified by the websites Gateway Pundit and GotNews earlier in the day.

“REPORT: Driver in Virginia Car Attack Was Anti-Trump Protester,” Gateway Pundit blared, plus the name of the Michigan man, whose name The Daily Beast is withholding. “WOW! DUDE HIT THE WRONG CROWD,” the subheadline read.

The “report” Gateway Pundit cited was a now-deleted tweet by a Twitter user named @Aristotle_Code, who goes by “Michael” and whose profile picture is of a sportscar. “Michael” has less than a thousand Twitter followers.

The post was deleted with no retraction.

“BREAKING: #Charlottesville Car Terrorist Is Anti-Trump, Open Borders Druggie,” reported GotNews, a website owned by far-right provocateur Chuck Johnson.

The post, which does not have a byline, cites a “Facebook crawl” of relatives of “license plate searches of the Dodge Challenger” that was used in the attack.

The woman killed when a car plowed into a crowd of anti-racist protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday was identified by her family Sunday as a local paralegal.

Heather Heyer, 32, died after she was struck by a grey Dodge Challenger. James Alex Fields, 20, who had traveled from Ohio to protest with a group of white nationalists on Saturday, was charged with second-degree murder for driving the car into the crowd.

Heyer, who worked for a law firm in nearby Ruckersville, Virginia, had decided to travel to Charlottesvile to join a group of counter-protesters, her family said.

    Heather Heyer Facebook

“She was there with her friends and she was trying to simply cross the street as the movement was breaking up that day and she was plowed down by a young man who was intent on spreading hate and thought hate would fix the world,” Heyer’s mother, Susan Bro, told NBC News. “And hate does not fix the world.”

"She was vocal. She had transgender friends, she had black friends, she had gay friends. She had a very wide range of friends, and she never met anyone who was a stranger," said Sarah Albro, a former coworker and friend of Heyer's, noting that it wasn't a surprise that she'd attended the counter-protest.

"I wouldn't say that she was an activist," Albro added. "But I would say that she felt strongly about certain things and had no problem standing up and showing support."
Larry Miller, Heyer's boss and the president of Miller Law Group PC, said that she had worked with him for about five years.

"She was conscientious, precise and always striving to improve her work," Miller said. "She cared about the clients. She had her opinions and would defend them with vigor. She was a peaceful person. She loved her dog, Violet. She was full of life and her time was cut short and I know that I will miss her. I am in shock."

yeah, I am not buying his mom's story about not knowing what he was. She knew, she either just didn't want to see it or is covering now that this has happened.

Alleged driver of car that plowed into Charlottesville crowd was a Nazi sympathizer, former teacher says

A man accused of plowing a car into a crowd of protesters here — killing one person and leaving 19 injured — long sympathized with Nazi views and had stood with a group of white supremacists hours before Saturday’s bloody crash.

The accused driver, James Alex Fields Jr., 20, of Ohio, had espoused extremist ideals at least since high school, according to Derek Weimer, a history teacher.

Weimer said that he taught Fields during his junior and senior years at Randall K. Cooper High School in Kentucky. In a class called “America’s Modern Wars,” Weimer said that Fields wrote a deeply researched paper about the Nazi military during World War II.

“It was obvious that he had this fascination with Nazism and a big idolatry of Adolf Hitler,” Weimer said. “He had white supremacist views. He really believed in that stuff.”

Weimer said that Fields’s research project into the Nazi military was well written but appeared to be a “big lovefest for the German military and the Waffen-SS.”
Brian Moran, Virginia secretary of public safety, said this of Fields: “He was a terrorist to do what he did.”

The FBI field office in Richmond and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Virginia said late Saturday that they have opened a civil rights investigation into the deadly car crash.

“The violence and deaths in Charlottesville strike at the heart of American law and justice,” U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions said in a statement. “When such actions arise from racial bigotry and hatred, they betray our core values and cannot be tolerated.”
Records show Fields last lived in Maumee, Ohio, about 15 miles southwest of Toledo.

His father was killed by a drunk driver a few months before the boy’s birth, according to an uncle who spoke on the condition of anonymity. Fields’s dad left him money that the uncle kept in a trust until Fields reached adulthood.

I'm amazed at all the shock and outrage at the fact that Trump won't call out the Nazi's and KKK. They are all he has left. It he disowns them (or maybe they disown him?) who will support him? A few Russians maybe.

Additionally, this outrage eats up all the oxygen in the room. Takes (sane) peoples minds off the whole investigation and all his other problems. Don't get me wrong. I'm outraged too. But I just hope the latest shiny thing doesn't confuse people. If the Cheeto isn't stopped he'll be responsible for way more than the 3 deaths in Virginia.

Oh, I'm pissed but still paying attention to the big picture. I'm booting people left and right off my friend's list today. Anyone that even hints at defending what happened yesterday or not acknowledging that Trump is a total piece of shit for not calling them out is being shown the door. We're talking friends that I've had for 30+ years included.

I'm over it. Done. Zero tolerance.

It's funny, the first real friend I lost over the Trump thing was actually posting all kinds of horrible things in support of Thomas Jefferson owning slaves, and dogging people who wanted to acknowledge and condemn the slavery issues surrounding the legacy at UVA. The problem was that she was posting it on another racist friend of her's page, and didn't realize I could see it, and then had the nerve to tell me that I shouldn't be posting political things because she never posted anything political and my over the top liberal posts were causing her to think she couldn't be friends with me. She was speechless when I quoted the things she had posted on that other girl's page...she had no idea it was showing up in my feed. We had a huge fight in December and I haven't spoken to her since. We were friends for 12+ years before that.

When I lived in VA, I was shocked at the open 'slap in the face' that was all around concerning the Civil War. They absolutely refused to acknowledge that the Civil War had anything to do with slavery. They had statues of confederate war generals EVERYWHERE. There was such an 'us vs them' attitude towards Black people. It was nauseating. I grew up in Texas, racist deep south, but I had NEVER seen anything like this. One of the girls I worked with was so proud of the fact that her family had "owned boys". I hated that place. I am not saying that racism isn't everywhere, especially in the deep South, but I can totally see how these crazy ass white supremacist neo-nazis are bred in this type of environment.

My cousins wife is a Virginia girl. What a warped view of the world she has. She's all for flying the colors and just shocked that anyone could find anything objectionable about a RE Lee Statue.

Serious? Forget all about the racist aspect if you must, but the man was a traitor to his country. The flag you revere was never the flag of the confederacy... you've bought a bill of goods about a history that you don't understand.

I'd have had no problem with the RE Lee statue in an appropriate place. Say a confederate cemetery. But it was put up downtown as a taunt to the civil rights movement.

    I actually love this https://www.facebook.com/Stonekettle...XuQRw4&fref=nf
The United States is 241 years old

For 237 out of those 241 years, the flag of the United States of America has flown over The South.

For less than 4 years, the Beauregard's Flag (AKA the Virginia Battle Flag, The Confederate Flag, the Stars and Bars) flew over a handful of southern armies of the defunct Confederacy.

That means for more than 99% of the history of the United States of America, the Stars and Stripes has flown over The South.

The AMERICAN flag embodies more than 99% of The South's history.

    More than 99%.

The Confederate Flag represents less than 1% of that history, MUCH less when you realize that it never flew over the Confederate States or Southern white citizens themselves. And it most certainly did not represent People of Color in the South. Ever. Meaning that the Confederate Flag represents a vanishing small fraction of Southern history for only a fraction of Southerners.

So, when I'm told the Confederate flag represents "heritage" I am forced to ask WHAT heritage exactly?

Precisely what heritage does the Confederate Flag represent to AMERICANS that the American flag does not?

Because the vast, vast majority of The South's heritage, bad, terrible, mundane, good, and great, occurred under the banner of the United States of America.

And it seems to me watching the Confederate Battle Flag fly alongside the Nazi Swastika that the "heritage" embraced by those who stood under that goddamned rag yesterday in Charlottesville, Virginia, was not pride, nor honor, nor duty, nor sacrifice, nor fidelity, nor courage, nor defense of home, nor any of those moments in history that embody the true greatness of that shinning city on the hill, but rather all the very worst aspects of humanity, hate, fear, intolerance, oppression, violence, bigotry, treason, genocide, murder, and terror.

So you tell me, what AMERICAN ideals, what history, what HERITAGE, does the Confederate Flag represent that the American Flag does not?

That the American Flag does NOT?

I should've known better than to repeat a fb post like that with out checking twitter first
I went in to their forum (don't go there unless you want seriously high blood pressure) and they're talking about how it isn't Anonymous at all but themselves posing as Anon in order to troll the public. One long time member mentioned being relieved because he thought that they'd have all of his info. I don't think Anon really took over, although that would have been great.

I don't mean to go into toxic masculinity territory, but I don't even know how to deal with it.

    Sorry for the overshare.

    Actually, no I'm not.
