Concern is growing after a U.S. soldier went missing in Waterford Township.

David Folsom, 54, is a brigade command sergeant major with the Michigan National Guard. His wife says he left home on foot Wednesday at about 3:30 a.m. and has not been back since. His truck sits in their driveway.

Folsom had been in the National Guard for 20 years. He has had deployments to Guantanamo Bay and Afghanistan.

Folsom?s wife says he suffers from PTSD and went missing earlier this month for about nine hours. He couldn?t remember where he went when he returned home.

K9 units and officers searched the woods near their home.

?We?re trying to stay strong,? Belinda Folsom said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Waterford Township Police Department.

Unfortunately I don't think there will be a positive outcome for this poor man.
