I hope he didn't do something to the little boy.Miller said the father appeared to have "a very selective memory" when it came to recalling what happened to his son. Miller said it had been a frustrating interview.
His father has been arrested. Also, can one of the mods change the last name to Andressian.

Authorities have arrested the father of a 5-year-old South Pasadena boy who was reported missing by his mother on Saturday.
Aramazd Andressian, Jr. was last seen by his mother via Skype last Tuesday as his parents are in the process of a divorce.
The child was visiting with his father last week and was scheduled to be returned to his mother. When that didn’t occur, she called police.
In a separate incident, Aramazd’s father – Aramazd Andressian, Sr. – was found by a passerby at Arroyo Park in South Pasadena allegedly passed out by his vehicle.
He was taken to the hospital. By the time he came to, police said he had no memory of his son’s whereabouts at that time.
Police indicate that Andressian Sr. was not forthcoming with information. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and child abduction.
“The father was communicative. He was not very forthcoming with information, was not very specific on his timeline, where he was with the child, where he was when the child was lost. He doesn’t really have a full memory of actually being with the boy,” said Chief Art Miller of the South Pasadena Police Department.
Aramazd is 4-feet-tall and weights about 55 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a turquoise plaid shirt and plaid shorts.
I hope they find him soon! His mother must be so very worried!! Sometimes I really wish we could torture people for info, this guy needs to speak up about where his boy is. We can already predict he ODed, is the rest of his story that much worse?
This is an area I constantly work in and I'm familiar with that park. It's not a huge State Forest or anything, but could still get easily lost in that area. There's still trails and parts that are pretty secluded. Not likely since there's plenty of people hiking, horseback riding etc. There is an archery range near there as well. There's some rugged terrain and the water drainage runs through there as well. Most of it is well fenced off and it's almost always empty.
My gut feeling is that this kid isn't lost. I think he killed his son and then was attempting suicide in a public place and the suicide didn't work.
Edited to add: BB73, I am convinced that you are going to witness some of these crimes one day while out dog walking. This makes like the 3rd or 4th story where it is near you, and since you are out walking all the time I think you are going to see something.
Oh how scary! This little boy must be / have been so scared - whatever happened to him.
He is absolutely adorable, as most five year-olds are. I want to protect and adopt all of these children.
I wonder what the dad's behavior is like on the footage at Disney.
Great follow-up, RBW!
I was thinking the same as Nic, but seeing as how they have the father at places without his Son in the days leading up to it, I don't have high hopes that this kid is alive. I think he killed him.
I wonder what part of South Pas he lived in. It's not a super huge area. This is really sad.
ETA: I definitely have a lot of near misses while out walking dogs If anything, I'm probably going to witness a jumper from the Colorado Street Bridge. My Husband already did see a guy preparing to do it.
I walked a dog through an area where a dead body was found later that day. Apparently walked right past it. It's a little unnerving. Drove past a spot where the body of a missing woman was for 2 months! That was pretty crazy. Also, I had driven up an on ramp where the guy literally driving behind me shot his Woman passenger and shoved her out of the car right there. I probably would have seen the whole thing happen if I had looked in my rear view mirror.
Dang, Boston!!
I'm so worried about this little guy
On another note, I always wonder if rewards actually help and in which cases they do help.
It's the one off of Arroyo road in South Pas. It's basically across from San Pasqual Stables.
ETA: It's on San Pasqual right before the Highland Park line. If you continue toward Highland Park you hit York by KFC.
Zoomed by here again and they're gone now. I'm not sure what happened, but it was the same park.
Didn't you mention someone posting about a guy with a dog trying to lure a little kid? Was it at this park?
ETA: Never mind, different park but still right near each other.
Sounds like it. Took him to a long day of fun at Disneyland, then next shows up at a park- takes a bunch of pills and covers his car in gas. Also, stuffs his gas tank with a rag.
The only other option I can think of is he gave the boy to one of his relatives and they took him out of the country.
