This is all over local news here. So many stories are being circulated, the latest with her mom claiming she was kidnapped. FBI now involved. Her truck and cell phone have been found, still no sign of her. Ex-boyfriend (who says they recently got back together and were about to make it public before she went missing) says she liked to take back roads home to avoid police patrolling main roads, especially if she had been drinking.
GRIDLEY, Calif. (KCRA) ?
The mother of a missing Yuba College student received several text messages claiming the 20-year-old was kidnapped, multiple law enforcement sources told KCRA 3 Wednesday.
Authorities said Alycia Yeoman?s mother first received a message Tuesday night, making demands. The messages were sent to Yeoman's mother through an online source which used multiple IP addresses, making it difficult to trace.
The FBI is now involved in the case and is helping search for Yeoman.
Gridley Police Department
She was last seen around 11 p.m. Thursday when she drove away from a home in the 1800 block of Romero Street in Yuba City, the Gridley Police Department said.
Surveillance video from a Live Oak homeowner shows Yeoman's truck driving onto a levee around 10:55 p.m. Thursday night. The video shows Yeoman's truck go around a gate and then drive on top of the levee along an orchard.
Investigators believe after what is captured on surveillance video, the truck went down the levee and into the orchard where it became stuck.
Farm workers reported the truck to investigators on Monday. At the scene, law enforcement found a single pair of footprints walking away and Yeoman's cell phone.
On Wednesday, search teams from the Butte County Sheriff?s Office brought dogs to the orchard in Sutter County off of Pennington Road.
Yeoman is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs about 115 pounds and has brownish-blond hair. She also has braces, a nose ring and a small mole near her left eye, Gridley police said.
Anyone with information about Yeoman's whereabouts is asked to call the Gridley Police Department at 530-846-5670.
