Any Ideas for Cool Wedding Songs??

My fiance and I are putting together our Itunes wedding song list to play while the band isn't. We like Classic Rock, Blues and Bluegrass, mostly. Here are some songs/artists that we already have:

Garcia/Grisman--Shady Grove
The Beatles--I Will, Ob-la-di, Ob-la-da
The Allman Bros. (I'm walking down the aisle to 'Little Martha')
Bruce Springsteen--Leah
Ween :-D
Van Morrison--Into the Mystic
Alison Krauss
REO Speedwagon--Keep on Loving You
Jimi Hendrix--Bold as Love, Little Wing
The Band
Ray Charles
Queen--You're My Best Friend
Frank Sinatra
Otis Redding
Lou Reed

I was hoping for some input--songs/artists we are overlooking?
Suggestions = karma

Thanks!

For you guy's first dance I highly suggest: Queen- Another One Bites the Dust (also good for funerals)
The afro smiley is the coolest.

Can someone tell me why Holly's forehead is so big, yet her brain is so small?

I burned a "Tara's Wedding" CD when I was a freshman in college. I'd have to dig it out but some I remember are Stuff that Matters- Tara Lynn Hart, Chances Are- Martina McBride, and Eternal Flame- the Bangles. Probably not exactly what you're looking for but thought I'd give it a shot!

Katie Melua.
She's British and AWESOME. Very soulful. She does a cover of the Cure, "Just Like Heaven", but the 2nd sond on her most recent disc is amazing. Its called 'Nine Million Bicycles'. Here are the lyrics:

There are nine million bicycles in Beijing
That's a fact,
It's a thing we can't deny
Like the fact that I will love you till I die.

We are twelve billion light years from the edge,
That's a guess,
No-one can ever say it's true
But I know that I will always be with you.

I'm warmed by the fire of your love everyday
So don't call me a liar,
Just believe everything that I say

There are six BILLION people in the world
More or less
and it makes me feel quite small
But you're the one I love the most of all

INTERLUDE
We're high on the wire
With the world in our sight
And I'll never tire,
Of the love that you give me every night

There are nine million bicycles in Beijing
That's a Fact,
it's a thing we can't deny
Like the fact that I will love you till I die

And there are nine million bicycles in Beijing
And you know that I will love you till I die!

Portishead
Wu-tang clan
tupac
ziggy marley
And affirmative action is a very nice term for racial discrimination against better-qualified white people in jobs, employment, promotions and scholarships, and college admittance.

"Oh, It Is Love" by HelloGoodbye
you can look them up on myspace and listen to that song there

"Can't Take My Eyes Off You" by Frankie Valli
This song is fun and cutely sexy.

"Since I Met You, Lady" by UB40
If you can't find, I have. (Is reggae... probably not the taste you are going for)

"Lost In You" by Garth Brooks as Chris Gaines

"Everything's Alright" by Jude
I have this, too, if you have trouble finding. Another fun one.

In the morning, I see what you mean
'cause I don't wanna make it without you
you got me dreamin' and after you leave
you're gone, I'm still thinking about you

I've been waiting for a long time
for the one who would be mine
I think it's time, I think...

everything's alright

I'm definitely walking down the aisle to Fat Bottomed Girls by Queen but maybe that's just me.

Bonnie Tyler--Total Eclipse of The Heart

music nazi nitpick: 'I'm Sticking With You" is actually a Velvet Underground song, from VU, and the vocals on it are by Mo Tucker, the drummer, not Nico. And there are various mentions of lynchings so I'm not sure it's really wedding material.

Edith Piaf--Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien

Billy Idol--White Wedding

The Pogues--Haunted (in all reality, I was thinking today that would be a great wedding song)

I always thought I'd want "A thousand Miles" by the proclaimers as my wedding song. But then I didn't really have a wedding. We decided at noon that we wanted to get hitched and were standing in front of the JP at 5 pm exchanging vows. lol I got married in a yellow t-shirt and some khaki cargo pants. Afterwards some friends took us out for dinner and now joke that they hosted our reception. My mother has never fully recovered! Ah well. I'll try and think up some more later. :) Congrats on the wedding by the way!

I was raised by my extended family with the belief that Bowie's "White Wedding" actually meant getting married a second time to the same person. So thence vastly inappropriate for a first wedding. However, now that i search dictionary.com i'm finding no references to that.

Heard it from other sources too. Has anyone heard that before?

I swear i'm not smoking crack.
