Question for the ladies: did any of you have stitches "down there" after having a baby? How long before you felt normal again? Do you ever? Me no likey.

what? if you aren't getting pregnant, might as well get something out of it. hahaha.

and i've never pushed anything outta my vag but having had stitch before (thus making me an expert ), it might take some time before the nerves heal and you're feeling a little more like your old self. it took a long long time for me to get all the feeling back on the top of my foot after i got my stitch. and it felt really gross in the in-between parts.

hope you're feeling like your old self in no time...

i actually ordered it years and years ago, along with some other things from goodvibes. it was like $4 so i was like WTH?

i found it in a bag of random things about a year and a half after i moved out of my house--which i sold to my ex. i was SO glad when i found it, i had totally spaced that i even had it but i'm glad it isn't floating around that hours any longer.

I had no stitches - my baby was 7 lb 9 oz. I think I felt fully normal after maybe 7-8 weeks. My cousin had a harder birth than me though and it took her maybe 10-12 weeks? I thought I'd never feel the same but all is good now.

Yes. It was about 8 weeks - sitz baths were awesome and kegel & pelvic floor exercises helped. It is a weird feeling.

I'm going to try Nuvaring. My doctor gave me a sample and prescription. Wish me luck that I don't kill anyone The last pill I took made me ANGRY.

It seems to affect people a little less than the pill. I lost my sex drive 100% when I was on the Pill. I'm REALLY hoping that doesn't happen on Nuvaring. It takes 4-6 months to get back, every single time. I'll be starting it at the end of the month, I'll report back on how it's going. I'm losing my insurance soon though, so hopefully I can get free samples from my doctor or a discount at Planned Parenthood.

Thanks!!! I've been doing my kegels like a crazy woman, I'm having the irrational fear that my insides will fall out if I don't.

i love the ring. love love love. it's really easy because i can't remember to take a pill daily to save my life and at least for me, the side effects are minimal. i've been using it on/off for years. i don't remember how many, but i think it's been at least 7. the ring was like, my last hope as far as hbc goes, so i'm happy that we get along. the pill i took before i switched made me want to suicide at the end of every cycle. no bueno.

the only thing i do not like is the cost $35/month WITH insurance but it's worth it, and at least i'm not paying the full price, which i think is $80, so i shouldn't complain...if i could be on a generic bill it'd be $5/month. but i'd take sane, not crying over commercials (not even the sad ones) and not wanting to plunge off of bridges every time i finish bleeding over saving money any day.

Do prenatal pills really help your hair grow? Mine is taking forever.

I'm holding out hope that Obama will change the 26 age limit on parents insurance to 30 I will have no insurance after losing it on my birthday. When I settle in a house, I'll probably look into getting my own plan.

vitamin d3 does as well, but it does make all your hair grow faster, not just that on your head.

I started supplementing Vitamin D a month ago when I found out I was deficient. I noticed my leg hair grew really fast this week, I thought I had just blurred my days together and more time had elapsed than I thought. Maybe it's the Vit D.

Oh, I don't need that. I have dark, thick hair as it is. I shave every day.

do you take d3 specifically? i haven't noticed it with regular d, but i've also taken it for a long time. after breaking two bones in three months i had to step my game up. i think using hbc without estrogen for all those years is why i have so many problems now.

Biotin is also good for hair growth. After having weight loss surgery, I was told to get on them incase I lost weight fast and lost my hair. I haven't lost weight fast but I have noticed that my hair has grown a lot faster.

Yes, it has a high absorption rate, better than D2. Are your calcium levels low?
