Haha she seriously just said "So?".  I could see her saying that if you were skipping it on purpose by taking active pills continuously, or if you were on a pill that only gives you 4 periods a year.  I'd be going crazy thinking I was pregnant.
    [/quote]

I was. I had already taken 2 home pregnancy tests and I made her give me another one.

Yeah her response was "So?" all incredulously. Then I said "Well I figured there probably wasn't anything wrong but this has never happened to me before so I just wanted to make sure. I feel kinda dumb now." She just stared at me. Then she commented that I had gained 5 pounds since the last time I was there and I needed to go to the gym more. :|

My thing is that I'm a bitch all the time, so it's hard to tell when it's pms.  I totally have perma PMS.

However this hemorrhaging shit needs to quit like 10 minutes ago.  I'm about ready to put some voodoo spell on my ass.  Even the bird doesn't want to be around me.

ugh, i have had my mirena for 4 and a half years and i'm getting it out next month. this past year my weight has been up and down like crazy, i have had horrible mood swings, no energy, headaches, constant back pain, i'm depressed, i'm breaking out more than i ever have, my boobs are constantly sore, its horrible. i'm a little nervous about the removal though. everyone i have talked to about it got theirs removed less than a year after getting it so it just seems like my removal might be a little more complicated. :|

I've noticed a def. change and it's only been a few days.  Besides the pain and grossness, my mood has elevated, I'm less lethargic and more motivated and I lost another pound today! Whee!

I had mine in for 1.5 years.  I'm not sure how diff. it is with the additional 3 that you have.

Removal wasn't bad.  You could feel the pulling (but...I kinda did it wrong) and there was some definite cramping right after wards.  Best to take some Ibuprofin before your appointment. As far as the bleeding and clots, that started literally right after I went in to get checked out and had my pap.  I'm also pumped that I can get my HPV shot, as long as it's before September.  My doc said the cutoff is 27, and I thought it was 26 and I missed it.  :|

When I had the insertion, I remember it did hurt, but I also had a 3 month old screaming baby at my bedside at the doctor's office, so that was motivation that took the pain away.

I didn't realize they did them in intervals.  Damn.  I also need to get retested for HPV since I have a different boyfriend now.  I'll rage if I have it and didn't prior to him.

it amazes me about how lax my friends with HPV are about sex.  i can't believe i've never had it.  i've been meaning to ask my dr. if i'm too old for the vaccine.

 I dunno.  They might be willing to do it if you insist.  I'm not sure if insurance covers it once you're past a certain age or what.  I'm not even really sure why it has an age limit.  I saw something on msnbc about older women (like in their 50's) getting it.

i think they do it because they assume the older and sluttier you are that you've probably been exposed to HPV at some point.  but i never discussed it w/ my dr since i was with the same dude for so long and always get my regular checkups.  i need to do some more research, i want it.

I think a lot of people are getting it.  The shot, not hpv.  I don't know the time increments aside from it being over 6 months because I only got 1/3, and don't anticipate going back for anymore much to my gyno's dismay as she always tries to insinuate that my boyfriend is probably cheating on me and being a manwhore.  :x

80% of women have gotten it before age 50.  Nearly everyone has it; it just doesn't show changes in cells, warts, etc in everyone.  And there are a tons of strains.

    I got preggo on Yaz.

I've been on the Nuva ring for about a year and a half and I lurves it.  Light periods, no mood swings or anything, and other than weight gain (which is most certainly attributed to the lack of a thyroid and PCOS, not the BC) it's all good  :-D
