There are a lot of really shitty comments on news articles but there are also a lot of friends & family describing mum as a good employee & extremely responsible parent. People who actually know them are very concerned for them

This is mum's brother who has posted re organising searches

    https://m.facebook.com/imabeast7

& also a pic he shared of Joanna & Shariece

This is mum's grandfather/Shariece's great grandfather who is also posting

    & mum/grandmother https://m.facebook.com/LadyT7777
has referred to her daughter in the past tense in some article comments

Hoping the "last seen at home"/"reported missing by a family friend" doesn't mean family are aware of partner/ex details that police have decided to hold back

    Edit :

& this is her youngest baby's Dad (possibly all the kid's - he has a group pic of them as his screen header). Not sure if she was still with him when they went missing, or if they maybe split last year (he was bitching about relship shit in Sept16 but didnt mention names, so it's possible)

Those comments on the facebook article.

One thing about the mom- it seems she has been in a lot of relationships (judging by her facebook) Not sure if it's always the same man or if different men tho.

Baltimore mom, daughter missing for 11 days-Foul play a possibility, police say

A mother and daughter have been missing for 11 days under what appears to be suspicious circumstances, Baltimore police said.

Joanna Antionette Clark, 33, and Shariece Nicole Clark, 15, were last seen in 2300 block of Round Road, in Baltimore's Cherry Hill neighborhood, on Feb. 4, police said.

"We do not have overt signs of a crime that occurred in Baltimore. However, we do have suspicion that foul play could be involved here, because we have not had any information as to where these two young ladies are in an 11-day period, and that is of great concern for us," Baltimore police media Chief T.J. Smith said. "We think that the answers lie within some friends and confidants, and we hope that they can come forward and provide some necessary information to our investigators."

Shariece Clark, was last seen around 3 p.m. that day. Joanna Clark was last seen around 11:15 p.m. that day, police said.

"A bit to odd for us is they're both missing at separate times," Smith said.

Joanna Clark is employed at Goetze's Candy factory in east Baltimore. Shariece Clark is a student at Dr. Carter Godwin Woodson Elementary/Middle School in Cherry Hill. Shariece Clark's school is within walking distance of her home, police said.

"This is one of those situations where we're essentially saying vanished without a trace, because we haven't gotten any solid leads on their whereabouts since Feb. 4, 2017," Smith said.

Besides Shariece Clark, Joanna Clark has six other children, ages 2-10, police said. She left her other children with a caregiver that day and has never left her children for an extended period of time, police said.

"This is something unusual that's never happened before. She's never left her children for an extended period of time. Neither one has ever gone missing for an extended period of time and this has certainly raised our antennas and raised our suspicions as well," Smith said.

Both missing mom and daughter led pretty active lives, and Shariece Clark was pretty active on social media.

"All of the (social media) communication ceases on the fourth of February, which again is of concern to us and our investigators," Smith said.

Police said the missing person's investigation began on Feb. 7, when family and friends reported the mom and daughter missing.

"This is not uncommon," Smith said. "Sometimes, people do their own searches before they contact the police."

Joanna Clark's brother, Alfred, said his sister and his niece have a close relationship and the last time he saw the pair, both seemed to be normal and happy. Alfred Clark said both of the women's cellphones appear to be dormant for the 12 days since they were last seen.

"Messages indicate the phones haven't even received a text yet, so they have not been turned on since then," Clark said. "She was the sole provider of her kids. She would never leave her kids. She has never done it in the past and no reason to do it in the future. If anyone has seen anything, we would appreciate any information at this point because right now we don't know where to look. There's no evidence anywhere."

Clark said the other children are safe and with other relatives. He said his sister did not have a car and took a bus to her job.

Authorities said missing fliers have been disseminated, posts were put up on social media and police have canvassed the area of Cherry Hill looking for pair.

Police said Friday they are searching an area of the south Baltimore near the Middle Branch Marina off of Waterview Avenue, west of the Hanover Street Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge. It is unclear what specifically prompted the search.

Police are asking for the public's help with tips or any information on the case.

"Any friends of confidants of either two of these young ladies to share that information with us, if there is anything they might have told you in the past that you thought was of concern, now we're telling you it is of concern, and we need that information brought forward," Smith said.

People can text tips anonymously to 443-902-4824, call 410-396-2100 or download the Baltimore Police Department mobile app and submit tips that way.

Baltimore Mother Joanna Clark and Daughter Shariece Clark Remain Missing Months Later

    The Clark family is frustrated.

Frustrated that it’s been more than five months since their loved ones, Joanna Clark and her daughter Shariece, disappeared. Frustrated that in all those months, no one has come forward with information that might help lead them to answers.

And frustrated that, at times, it seems their faces have been forgotten.

“We just want people to see their picture and know they haven’t been found,” Alfred Clark, Joanna’s brother, told Dateline. “We are just praying someone saw something and has the courage to come forward.”

Joanna, 33, and her daughter Shariece, 15, were last seen on February 4th. Both disappeared that same day, but at different times.

Alfred said Shariece, who is affectionately nicknamed Riece, was babysitting her six younger siblings at the family’s home in the Cherry Hill neighborhood of South Baltimore. Both Shariece’s mother and her mother’s boyfriend, the father of the youngest six, were at work. Authorities believe Shariece disappeared later that afternoon after she was done watching the children. The circumstances of that Saturday afternoon remain unclear. Her last known communication was around 2:30 p.m., according to the Baltimore Police Department.

That same Saturday night, Joanna was thought to be out spending some time with friends. Her last known communication was between 11:00 p.m. and midnight that evening, police said. It is unknown if Joanna made it home.

“It’s a busy area, so we’re still shocked no one says they saw anything,” Alfred told Dateline. “I mean, the little kids were home. But they are all younger than, like, ten, so they can’t really be a witness, or whatever, about what happened.”

Joanna didn’t show up for her shift the following Monday at the Goetze’s Candy Company, where she works with her aunt. Joanna was again a no-show the next day, prompting the aunt to call Alfred to ask if everything was all right.

“That’s when I called her best friend, who she would have told if she was going to run away or something. And she hadn’t heard from her,” Alfred said.

It was soon discovered by family members that both Joanna and Shariece were missing. Shariece, who is very active on several social media platforms, had gone silent. Family members also say it’s unimaginable that Joanna would leave her other children.

The Baltimore Police Department continues to investigate the case. Officials suspect foul play in both cases, and believe they are connected, said T.J. Smith, Chief of Media Relations for the Baltimore Police Department.

“It’s one of these situations where we don’t know what happened outside of: After that day, everything stopped,” Smith told Dateline.

Joanna’s brother Alfred told Dateline their family has their suspicions, but said there is little evidence to back up their theories.

Joanna’s other children are now in the custody of the state.

Whatever happened to his sister and niece, Alfred just wants the answers his family is desperate to find.

Just a question, why are the kids in the custody of the state? The partner was the father of six of them.

Me too. Why would the kids not be with another family member? I get 6 kids is a lot to take in, but I would never let my nieces & nephews go to the state. I'd fight tooth and nail for them. I suspect the police think the baby daddy is involved somehow and that's why he don't have them.

Yeah, that Def makes sense as to why he doesn't have them.
Ikr, I wouldn't let any of my fam go to the state. I wonder why no one in their fam took them in?

Lack the funds it requires to take care of 6 kids. Or the space to house them. I'm not saying that is the case, but there are a few scenarios I could see as the reasoning.

I get what you're saying. It's just sad under the circumstances that they couldn't have even stayed temporarily w family.

Definitely. And I am not saying that is the reason why the kids aren't with family, just one scenario of what it might be.

I agree 6 kids would be a lot to take care of. It's just so sad for the kids, they are probably split up too.

One year after mom and daughter vanished, police "still searching for clues"

This week marks one year since 33-year-old Joanna Antionette Clark and her daughter, 15-year-old Shariece Nicole, were reported missing, CBS Baltimore reports. Baltimore Police spokesman T.J. Smith tweeted Monday that the department is still looking for clues about their disappearance.

Still searching for clues in disappearance of #JoannaClark and #SharieceClark @BaltimorePolice Text tips: 4439024824 https://t.co/xjoKCx5Aev
    — T.J. Smith (@TJSmithMedia) May 3, 2017

"We're not optimistic that either are alive at this point," Smith previously said in July.

A friend of the family reported the disappearances on Feb. 7, 2017. Shariece was seen around 3 p.m. that day, and Joanna was seen around 11 p.m., according to Smith.

"People that were fairly active on social media, fairly socially active with friends and family," Smith said. "It all cut off on Feb. 7. We do absolutely suspect foul play in this case and we're looking for any information we can get."
