some people are really caught up in myspace. its bugged out. i mean, i have a page. i have fun with it, its entertainment for me and i like adding dif shit to my page...but for some people it has become much more than that.

Me too...I just have fun with it. Putting things on my page, sharing new pictures, keeping in touch with out of state friends...that's why I do it. Some people just can't live without constant drama in their lives...it is very sad.
I'm glad I don't have problems with harassing members and nosy bitches like some of you. I really don't have time for that shit, as I'm guessing none of you do. For those of you who have your page private do to your work, what exactly is going on that you would get in trouble at work?

My friend works for a big corporation. She has to keep her page private because she said myspace is #1 thing that employers check out just to see what kind of person you are. I can't think of a better way to word that. They just want to see what you're up to...looking to see if you party a lot, any drug references, things like that.
I have my profile private because I have many pictures of my daughter on it. I don't want just any random person looking at her pics. You never know who could be saving them and using them for their own purposes and it makes me sick to think about it.

Exactly...that's the main reason mine is private too.
That really makes sense if you have kids. I wouldn't want anyone saving pics of my kids, either for pedophile purposes, or just to photoshop them if they didn't like me.
My page isn't private anymore but I had it on private because of some stupid guy I use to date that let me know he read my page everyday. So I just deleted most the information on my page. Now it's boring and not much on there. Oh, man yall have to check out this guy.....such a loser. What was I thinking....This should give you guys a good laugh.

My MySpace is public because I wouldn't write anything on there that I wouldn't want my mother reading.
My pics are private. I sometimes put pics of my BF/friends/whomever on there and I am uncomfortable with publicly displaying other peoples' pics. And with all the pic hacking that's been going on here lately, I feel like it was a good call.
