DANVILLE, VA ? Two women were found dead in a Danville home, and police believe the person who killed them has run away.

This is one of those weird articles. It never explains the little boy.

When police arrived around 12:30 Sunday afternoon, he says a little boy was playing in the snow in the front yard.

?He was all bundled up like somebody had dressed him, but there was nobody alive in the house,? Reynolds explained.

Police are being tight-lipped about the circumstances surrounding the double homicide, only saying that someone who was coming to see the two victims called the police department and reported the deaths.

No information has been released about a possible cause of death.

?There?s an investigative reason for that. It may be something that we?ll release later.?

Reynolds says he believes the two victims and the third woman police are searching for, Amanda Willhite, were selling drugs out of the home.

He says his family and others on the street have made numerous attempts to notify and even help police stop the activity, but the police department has not responded.

?My mother, step-father, they have definitely reported it. Other neighbors across the street as well. A lot of people have reported it and even offered the police to lay down car counters for them to see, put up cameras,? Reynolds asserted.

WSLS reached out to the police chief?s office for comment but all we were told was that the department neither confirms nor denies it is conducting any confidential narcotics investigation.

Neighbor Aydyn Mathews says he, too, suspects drugs were being sold out of the home.

On FB, I pieced together that Kelly has/had a grandson who she cared for and lived there. A neighbor was reporting that "the boy is okay" - in other words, was not killed, too.

Yeah, I kind of figured she was the suspect, but there was a small chance someone had killed them and grabbed her. What a mess!

Both profiles have a pic of her in an orange top/jacket that makes her look similar to an OITNB inmate. The profile from 2013 describes an engagement to a Rick Harris and this end-of-2012 statement "feel so strong about the changes i have made to better my life." Yes, the articles state that Amanda Willhite lived with the victims. One of the articles that bermstalker posted above says it was a known drug house. From Amanda's Facebook pages, it appears she doesn't have many photos. She uses this one on both of her FB accounts.


Information is popping up for the homicide victims but I haven't seen any details about the homicides specifically. Isn't that strange? I feel like in most cases like this, they will state that persons were gunned down, etc.

This article says they died of stab wounds and Amanda Willhite is being held on unrelated drug charges in North Carolina where they found her. The investigation is ongoing. No other updates could be found.
