It's a little bit creepy to me that this beautiful homemaker with the perfect little white life is mostly good at hiding her racism save for a few 'pins' that show her true nature. I wonder if it's apparent talking to her in person, or if she is all smiles and eyelash batting.

I think she is just saying she is one of those right wing nut jobs. She probably posts comments on Facebook pages and articles in her local paper about Hispanic families dying in car crashes most likely being illegal. I feel like I know her well because she is just like people from where I live.

That's the thing with these trumpers... not to make this thread political, but someone told me that this was a liberal issue - assuming all of them are uneducated. A large portion were well to do and educated. Which was even worse to me because that means all of those people are actually hateful rather than just ignorant.

Tupelo posted awhile back about a church and the ransom dude.
After looking at Sherri's Pinterest and her other blog posts....I really believe now that the Papini family is members of this church. Cameron Gamble is also a member. I think the church is the one who put the ransom money up (anonymous)
It really sounds like a lot of her core beliefs are the same as the church's core beliefs.

I don't really know what to think of this whole kidnapping story. It sounds so far out there to be true, but then again, it sounds so far out there to be false.
If you're severely beaten, what hospital would release you after just a couple of hours? If you've been held against your will for over 3 weeks it still seems like the hospital would at least keep you overnight.

An anonymous source told Heavy that they were advised that Papini?s ?extended family? claimed she had staged her own abduction in 2006.

Interesting about the report from Heavy. This whole story just seems shady to me. Clearly she was not denied food/water for the 3 weeks she was gone or the hospital would have at least kept her for dehydration. And I agree with Berm, if she were severely beaten then you would think they would have kept her for a minimum of a 23 hour observation period.

Yeah I want to know more about the 2006 case.

I agree BWS, if she was severely beaten i would assume she had bruising, and I would think they would want to keep her to make sure she had no internal bleeding.

Lots of whispers and talk about all of this on different blogs and forums, but so far I haven't seen that the mainstream media has picked it up or run with it. I wonder if they are waiting to see how it plays out, so they won't look like the bad guy for disparaging this poor little white women? Yeah, I am cynical.

I knew stuff was coming out about her. A lot of it was already deleted off the internet, but some people found it in the "way back machine"
Here's some I read:
I know she had a wedding blog. She basically bragged about being a blushing virgin bride. Nope. She was divorced and had an ex-husband. She has a history of telling lies.
The last time I checked over at WS, the thread was shut down from all the rumors. (don't know if it still is) they were saying that the husband bought a brand new truck the day Sherri was found. She also has an attorney now.
One rumor from an insider said that when Sherri was found the only thing she told the police "Hispanic women armed in an SUV" and has now refused to answer anymore questions.
There was a bunch of shady stuff about the FIL and his company. Lots of stuff posted about the church Tupelo mentioned way back....and that Cameron dude. Stuff about the couple in serious financial debt.
There was also tons of stuff Sherri had previously posted elsewhere that were.....racist and downright kooky.

I also even heard some stuff about Husband and Sherri in porn movies. (I think this is probably BS tho. The few people that posted that never provided any type of proof)

You can google "sherri Papini hoax" and get a good idea about some of the stuff.

Here's the latest update from the sheriff. Looks like they know about some of the stuff already.

"We currently have no reason to disbelieve Sherri Papini's story, Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko said on Sunday. "She was assaulted and had injuries which she was treated for."

The Sheriff also said that investigators are looking into past incidents with Sherri Papini and are aware of her previous marriage and divorce and are checking into her past, including any online activity.

Investigators put out 20 warrants for data including surveillance cameras and cell towers. The camera footage, from locations in Yolo County and the city of Redding, include homes, business, a church, motels and traffic cameras.
Police are also sifting through cell tower information from the area where she was dropped.
