Don't know why I'm thinking against the grain like this but, I'm going with faked disappearance.

Life was too perfect, people calling her "supermom". Maybe the pressure was too much so she dropped out. She's half way around the world, travelling as a brunette.

If it wasn't the husband, this is my second theory. I think some law enforcement is hinting this as well, which is really pissing her family off.

I think they might be privy to some information we are not.

I think they're definitely privy to something. I also like the intentional missing theory. The only thing that makes me second guess it is the kids. She seemed like a loving Mother and it would take a lot for her to leave them behind if that's the case.

I was thinking maybe she planned to be away for a couple of hours, and come back (bc the kids were at daycare), but that doesn't make sense, because she would have just taken her own car (I assume she had one bc she dropped the kids off and picked them up).
