    A little more info:

SAN DIEGO —Authorities are asking for the public’s help to locate a Paradise Hills woman who has been missing almost two weeks and is in need of medication.

Sharon Chipman, 34, walked away from her group home near on Oct. 10, sheriff’s Detective Michael Dasilveira said.

Her family told authorities they are worried because she is not taking her prescribed medications and needs to be placed in a mental health facility.

Chipman made a banking transaction in Spring Valley on Oct. 11. She was reported missing on Oct. 12 by her grandmother, who lives in Lakeside, Dasilveira said.

Her purple bike was found locked to a bike rack at a McDonalds near Sweetwater Road and Jamacha Boulevard in Spring Valley on Oct. 18.

Dasilveira said it appears that Chipman was in Ocean Beach, where she grew up, over the weekend.

Her father and brother, who flew into San Diego from Texas to look for Chipman, were handing out flyers in Ocean Beach on Saturday.

Some fishermen called Dasilveira on Monday and said they’re sure, from her photo, that they saw her on the pier late Saturday night. Other locals told the detective they believe they saw her in the same area on Sunday.

Chipman is described as white, 5 feet 7 inches tall ,145 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the San Diego Police Department at (619) 531-2000 or the Sheriff’s Department at (858) 565-5200

Sharon “Shari” Chipman, 35, from San Diego has been missing since Oct. 10. She walked away from her group home in Paradise Hills and was reported missing by her grandmother on Oct. 12. She left behind a cryptic note that said, "Leaving everything behind, Jesus told me to," Shari's brother David Chipman, told East County Magazine. She has been diagnosed as bipolar and schizophrenic. Her family is concerned for her safety.

Sheriff's deputies talked to Chipman at the Jack in the Box on Jamacha Road and Sweetwater Road in Spring Valley on Oct. 11. Since she did not appear to be a danger to herself or others, she was released at the scene. Her family had not yet reported her missing; the Sheriff has since issued a missing person bulletin. Chipman also made a banking transaction in Spring Valley on Oct. 11. On October 18, a week later, her purple Magma mountain bike was spotted locked to a bike rack at a McDonald's near Sweetwater Road and Jamacha Blvd.
