Melissa was born in London on July 2 and died on Oct. 20 in Denver. She graduated from Westchester Academy for Int'l Studies in Houston; Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, CO; and attended Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is survived by her mother, Heather Spring, and father, John Klein; stepfather Mike Lincoln; stepmother Janis Klein; sister and brother-in-law Kelly 'Klein' and Darin Chamberlain; stepsister Grace Klein; stepbrother and sister-in-law Lindsey and Andrea Shields; nieces Leila and Briella Chamberlain, and Phoebe Shields; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Her infectious smile, laugh, and kind soul will always be a beautiful memory in our minds. She will be in our hearts forever. A private family service will be held in Seadrift. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be given to the Gift in Memory Program of All Health Network in Littleton.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say she died of Anorexia. Christ, she was really bad

At her weight, an Advil would kill her. Lots of people reaching out to her and asking her to get to a healthy weight. One person blames Matt saying that he was her demise and at one point she had begged someone to come get her, that she was being deprived of food and wanted to go home.

She definitely had some major issues and drugs very well could have been one of them. She was definitely a pot smoker and there was one reference to ecstasy on her wall. She was dangerously thin though. My guess is her heart gave out.

This really hits home for me, as I once was just like Melissa. If only she realized how beautiful she was.
