Typhenie Johnson (25) missing from Ft. Worth, TX since 10/10/16

    http://www.cbsnews.com/news/typhenie...r-texas-woman/

Police are searching for a Texas woman they say is missing under suspicious circumstances, reports CBS DFW.

Typhenie Johnson, 25, vanished Monday afternoon from a Fort Worth apartment complex. Fort Worth police officer Jimmy Pollozani told the station investigators suspect foul play.

Johnson was last seen with 32-year-old Christopher Revill, who is currently in custody. He was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of kidnapping, reports the Star-Telegram, citing jail records. Revill is reportedly Johnson?s ex-boyfriend.

Johnson?s sock, phone and car keys were found in the parking lot at the apartment complex, the paper reports. Revill was driving a white Ford Taurus when he was arrested, and police are asking anyone who may have seen the vehicle in east Fort Worth or west Arlington between 9:00 p.m. and midnight Monday night to come forward.

Revill reportedly has a criminal history that includes burglary and aggravated robbery convictions, the paper reports. He was most recently released on parole in July 2015,.

Johnson was wearing a pink shirt with black and white pants when she was last seen, according to police. She stands about five feet, four inches tall and weighs 135 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Fort Worth police at 817-392-4430 or 817-335-4222.

Fort Worth police released the arrest affidavit for Christopher Steven Revill on Thursday

In the affidavit, police said Johnson and Revill dated for approximately eight months but that Johnson had ended the relationship approximately two months ago.

Johnson's twin brother, Asher, told police Typhenie was talking to Revill outside her apartment and told Revill it was over. After 20 minutes the conversation moved to the side of the apartment out of sight, according to Johnson's brother.

After 20 more minutes Revill came to the apartment to collect some things, and according to the affidavit when Asher Johnson asked Revill where Typhenie was, Revill said she left with someone who was going to fix her car.

Asher Johnson tried to call her but there was no answer. According to the affidavit, when Asher went outside he saw Revill's car was moved to a grassy dirt area nearby and the trunk was open. Asher said he went around the building to get a better view but Revill shut the trunk and drove away.

Asher told police when he walked over to where Revill's car was parked he saw items belonging to Typhenie.

"What the officers located on the scene were actually a cell phone, keys and a sock belonging possibly to Typhenie Johnson, and it was confirmed, through her brother, that it was her belongings," said Fort Worth Police Officer Jimmy Pollozani. "[Revill] is releasing limited information to detectives and he's not cooperating."

According to the affidavit (see below), Asher called and asked Revill to come back, and after 15 minutes, when he didn't, Asher called Fort Worth Police.

When officers arrived they talked to Revill on the phone and asked him to return to the apartments. According to the affidavit, after 25 minutes, when he did return he was sweating and said it was because it was warm, though police note it was 64 degrees and no one was sweating but Revill.

"Initial officers on scene and working the case noticed that the temperature was in the 60 degrees, that night and when he came back he was sweating and that was a red flag," said Pollozani.

Other officers went to Revill's home and according to the affidavit in the backyard they found a bra with the wire clasp stretched out as if pulled apart, a ladies shirt, a smart watch with a broken clasp and a man's tank top.

Revill's parents said those items were not there earlier and didn't belong to them, and according to the affidavit they had been at dinner and shopping during the time Typhenie Johnson disappeared.

"Based on the actually evidence that was out there in the crime scene and the apartment complex and the information at the parents house and that?s why we?re suspecting foul play and we need the public?s help to locate her and bring her back to her family," said Pollozani.

After he was read his rights, Revill told police he didn't harm Typhenie Johnson and denied parking in the grass, according to the affidavit.

Revill is being held at the Mansfield Jail on $50,000 bond.

Fort Worth police confirm Revill had child with a woman who disappeared in 2006. Taalibah Islam is still missing, but police told NBC 5's Cory Smith officers didn't think Revill was involved in her disappearance.

    SEARCH CONTINUES FOR TYPHENIE JOHNSON

On Wednesday, Asher Johnson and several of Typhenie's friends passed out flyers with her picture on it.

"We're trying to make sure that she gets home," said Asher Johnson's coworker, Jewel DeCasta. "[Asher's] taking it OK, but at the same time he just needs help finding his sister."

Typhenie Johnson is about 5 feet 4 inches tall and 135 pounds with brown hair and eyes. She as last seen wearing a pink shirt and black and white pants.

Police asked anyone who saw the vehicle or Typhenie Johnson between 9 p.m. and midnight Monday to contact the Fort Worth Police Department.

"We don't know where she could be at, if she's OK, if she's breathing, if she's helpless, we just don't know," DeCasta said. "We just want to make sure our little sister is OK."

So this makes the second case in just about 2 months where the main suspect had a previous girlfriend go missing. This just makes me rage. His stories are pretty much the same for both ex's. I hope they at least find this girl, unlike the first one.

Two ex-girlfriends of Fort Worth kidnapping suspect have vanished

A Fort Worth man held on a kidnapping charge in connection with the disappearance of his ex-girlfriend had another ex-girlfriend vanish a decade ago.

According to that report, Revill told police that he last saw Islam, who at the time was his ex-girlfriend, five days earlier when she and their child visited him in the 1900 block of Bay Oaks Court.

Revill told police that Islam left the residence, leaving the baby behind, and got into a vehicle with an unknown person and left. He told police that he believed she would come back for the baby but that no one had heard from her since.

He told police it was “unusual” for Islam to be gone so long without calling about the baby.

    Islam has never been found.

When asked if Revill is a suspect in Islam’s 2006 disappearance and whether that case has been reopened, police spokesman Jimmy Pollozani responded by email that the major case unit is “focusing their attention on trying to locate” Typhenie Johnson, 25.

The search for Typhenie Johnson continues in Fort Worth

Police continued to search for the missing woman in the Sandy Lane Park area of east Fort Worth.

On Friday morning, investigators returned to the area of Sandy Lane Park, near where Revill lives, to conduct another search. His residence, in the 7500 block of Calmar Court, backs up to the park, which is about 14 miles from Johnson’s apartment. Police were also searching an area near Trinity Boulevard and Texas 360, not far from the Post Oak East apartments where Johnson was last seen.

Officials called off the search later Friday and said they will not search during the weekend unless they have new leads, according to Pollozani. Otherwise police plan to resume their search on Monday.

Anyone with information on Typhenie Johnson’s whereabouts is asked to contact police at 817-392-4430.

According to an affidavit, Johnson had been talking to Revill, with whom she had broken up two months earlier, outside her apartment.

During their talk on Monday, Johnson reiterated to Revill “that it was over,” the affidavit states.

Concerned for Johnson, her brother and her current boyfriend had been keeping an eye on the talking couple, but after about 20 minutes, Revill and Johnson moved their conversation to the side of the building.

About 20 minutes later, Revill then came into Johnson’s apartment and collected some items. When asked by Johnson’s brother where his sister had gone, Revill told him she “left with someone who was going to fix her vehicle” and then departed himself.

When Johnson’s brother went downstairs to look for her, he noticed that Revill’s car was backed into an area of grass and dirt. He saw Revill close the trunk before getting inside the car and driving away.

Near where Revill’s car had been parked, the brother found his sister’s sock and cellphone. Her car keys were later found in the parking lot, police said.

Johnson’s brother called Fort Worth police about 15 minutes later.

A responding officer called Revill and told him he needed to return to the complex.

Revill arrived about 25 minutes later, sweating despite the cool temperature, the affidavit states.

Revill told investigators he had not harmed Johnson and had not parked in the grass where Johnson’s belongings were found.

The affidavit states, however, that shoe and tire impressions left in the grass and dirt area where Johnson’s belongings were found appeared to match Revill’s tires and shoes.

A search of the back yard at his place of residence also uncovered a stretched-out bra, a woman’s shirt, a broken watch and a man’s tank top, according to the affidavit.

Revill’s parents, who were not home when Johnson went missing, told police that the items did not belong to them and had not been in the yard before, according to the affidavit.

Revill remained in the Mansfield Jail on Friday on the kidnapping charge and a parole violation.

Revill was convicted in Dallas County in 2008 of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, robbery and assault of a public servant. He was sentenced to five years in prison.

He was released in March 2013.

Four months later, he was charged with burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault in connection with an Everman case. He pleaded guilty in November 2013 and was sentenced to five years in prison.

He was released on parole in July 2015, according to state prison records.

Johnson’s family, which has declined to comment so far, is scheduled to give a statement to the media Saturday morning.

Ex-boyfriend of missing Texas woman is arrested on suspicion of kidnapping

A missing woman's ex-boyfriend has been arrested on suspicion of kidnapping in relation to her disappearance, after another woman he dated vanished a decade ago.

Typhenie Johnson, 25, was last seen on October 10 at the Post Oak East Apartments in northeast Fort Worth, Texas, police say.

Her ex-boyfriend, Christopher Steven Revill, 32, was the last person to see her, and police suspect foul play was involved in her disappearance, Fox4 News reported.

The woman's sock, phone and car keys were found in the parking lot at the apartments, Fort Worth Police Officer Jimmy Polozani told the Star-Telegram.

Authorities say they found women's clothing at Revill's mother house, and Asher told police it was the tank top that his sister was wearing the night she disappeared.

Revill was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of kidnapping due to the evidence and witness statements.

He is being held in jail on $50,000 bond, and police are still searching for Typhenie.

'We have substantial information basically on the initial crime scene of the apartment complex that would lead us and the detectives to believe that he was the last person around her at the time of her disappearance,' Pollozani said.

Families Of Missing Women Want Help From FBI And State Investigators

The families of two missing Fort Worth women are demanding Fort Worth Police call in state and federal help to solve the cases.

Typhenie Johnson and Taalibah Islam?s families believe the same man is responsible for their loved ones vanishing.

Johnson went missing two weeks ago without a trace. Her ex-boyfriend, Christopher Revill is now charged with kidnapping and being held in the Mansfield jail.

Islam?s family says Taalibah also went missing ten years ago while dating Revill.

Although Revill is suspected in Johnson?s disappearance, he is not being held responsible for Islam who still has not been located.

Hadiyah Islam, Taalibah?s sister made an emotional plea on Monday saying, ?I feel this would not be happening now if they (police) would have listened to us 10 years ago.?

Typhenie?s mother Deborah Johnson added, ?We do not want this to happen to another family.?

The families have joined forces with the activist group Next Generation Action Network.

Together they are pressuring the Fort Worth Police Department to do more in solving these cases and locating the missing women.

Johnson said, ?I would like them to get the FBI and the States investigators involved.?

Fort Worth Police issued the following statement Monday night:

The Fort Worth Police Department sympathizes with the families of both Typhenie Johnson and Taalibah Islam. We understand that the families? emotions are running high and our officers, detectives and crime analysts are working diligently to bring them closure.

Detectives have coordinated numerous searches since Typhenie Johnson?s disappearance. Since the first call for police assistance, our officers and detectives have been searching by ground, air, horseback and using police K9 assets. The police department has also accepted the assistance of civilian volunteers, including, Code Blue, Community Emergency Response Teams, Search 1 Rescue Team and concerned citizens who just wanted to help look for Typhenie. Police search efforts continue, but have now been concentrated in smaller areas as leads develop. We have not, and will not, spare any expense in the search for Typhenie.

The Lieutenant over Violent Personal Crimes has been in regular contact with Typhenie?s family and has updated them on the progress of the investigation. He has also offered to give maps of areas previously searched by police to assist in the family?s own search efforts.

The missing person?s case involving Taalibah Islam from 2006 was never closed and is still an active investigation. Detectives are currently cross referencing evidence in both cases to determine if there are significant similarities.

Fort Worth Police Department detectives have very good working relationships with our federal and state law enforcement partners who have been updated on the progress of this case. Should the assistance of these agencies be needed, we will not hesitate to ask.

We ask for continued prayers of comfort and strength for these families as these investigations continue.

Family, Volunteers Continue Search for Missing Fort Worth Woman

The mother of a Fort Worth woman who disappeared five weeks ago says she's not giving up searching for her – and is asking volunteers to join her.

"I hope we're able to find her soon and bring her home for the holidays," said Deborah Johnson Strub, the mother of Typhenie Johnson.

    Typhenie Johnson disappeared Oct. 10.

Her boyfriend, Chris Revill, has been charged with kidnapping her. Witnesses said the two were arguing and there were signs of a struggle, police said.

Revill claimed he saw Johnson get in a car with someone else.

"I wish Chris would open up and let us know where she is, what has happened to her," her mother said.

Volunteers planned to meet Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Valero station west of Texas Highway 360 and Trinity Boulevard.

"We miss her so much and want her back with us," Strub said. "What the outcome will be, either way, we just want to bring her home and either celebrate she's with us or be able to lay her to rest."

Ex-boyfriend of missing Fort Worth woman indicted on kidnapping charges

More than two months after a Fort Worth woman went missing, her ex-boyfriend has been indicted on charges connected to her case.

Typhenie Johnson, 25, was last seen Oct. 10 outside her Euless apartment, where she was talking to former boyfriend Chris Revill.

The 32-year-old was arrested days later on a kidnapping charge after Johnson's phone, keys and sock were found on the ground where his car had been parked at her apartment complex.

Revill was indicted Thursday on charges of kidnapping and aggravated kidnapping with the intent to terrorize or sexually assault, according to a report from WFAA-TV (Channel 8).

Police searched his home in October and found a bra with broken wire clasps, a woman's shirt, a smartwatch with a broken clasp and a man's tank top, according to the arrest warrant affidavit.

Johnson and Revill dated for eight months before breaking up in August. He showed up at her apartment on Oct. 10, and she told him their relationship was over, according to police.

Revill had a child with a woman who disappeared in 2006 and is still missing, Fort Worth police said. Officials do not believe he was involved in Taalibah Islam's disappearance.
Um, what are the odds that his other girlfriend disappeared in similar circumstances and he wasn't involved.

Yeah, any kind of neck or facial tattoo is suspect. I really like the cases where the perpetrator has something like "MURDER" on his neck or forehead, and then tries to deny that they have ever done anything wrong.
