Police are investigating the disappearance of a 53-year-old Wetumpka woman.
Kimberly Starr Mulder was last seen at her Elmore County residence on Saturday, June 11, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Mulder was picked up by someone at her residence that day and apparently taken to Birmingham, according to information submitted to the National Institute of Justice's National Missing and Unidentified Persons System.
"We are following up on some leads," Elmore County Sheriff Bill Franklin told AL.com on Wednesday. "We are trying to find out exactly if this (her disappearance) was a voluntary thing, or if foul play was involved."
He said there's currently no evidence of foul play.
Mulder was living with her ex-husband at the time of her disappearance. Franklin said the ex-husband is cooperating with the investigation.
Her daughter, Amber Hester, of Massachusetts, is reaching out to Mulder's friends on Facebook seeking help locating her mother. "We are very concerned," she wrote.
"We have no leads on the case, and any leads we have run into a dead end," she wrote on July 1.
Hester couldn't be reached for comment by AL.com.
Mulder is 5-foot 3 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. She has green eyes and blonde or strawberry blonde hair.
Anyone with information on Mulder's whereabouts is asked to call the Elmore County Sheriff's Office at 334-567-5546.
