I hated making the band. I loved Chappelle's parody.

Maybe I just like Chapelles parody more than the actual show lol
Probably. I just liked looking at that Hispanic chik.

And "Mourn You Till I Join You" is 1,000x better than I'll Be Missing You, but since it didn't have one of the most familiar hooks of all time, it got no airplay. It's more personal and obviously much better lyrically, but oh well.....

I hate Sean Combs' (bc I don't know what ridic moniker he is using this year) voice, his robotic, amateur-sounding flow, his face...just everything. I love me some Biggie, though.

Whenever people get into it about 'who was better', I don't know. I have no opinion on who was 'better'. Biggie has a lot of tracks that make me smile, there are a lot of memories built around listening to Biggie. Tupac, on the other hand, I've always felt like his lyrics and messages were better. A lot of Tupac makes me think, Biggie makes me nod my head say yeah.

The answer is easy Nery. It is Tupac. Tupac created songs that meant something. Biggie didn't. Plus he only put out 2 albums. Biggie is one of those artists that became an all time great based on his potential to be great. Pac was already great.

Well, I kind of said that, looking back at my post. I said I didn't know who was better, but then I said Tupac's lyrics and messages were better. In short, I agree, I guess.

Plus, Tupac could get it. Biggie, not in a million years, I don't care how rich he was. Bleh.

You are such a thug, I love it.

Yea, I saw him. In Jan or Feb of 1996 in Club Amazura. I won tickets through a radio contest. It was a fucking crazy night, and he didn't come on until like after 2am or something. A riot almost broke out cause they fucked up the coat check and I had a gun in my face that security was holding. Good times! All worth it though. Ha.

People forget that most of Pac and Biggie's success was posthumous. They weren't playing the Garden and shit. They sold heaps of records, sure, but they really blew up after they died.

I also saw Big Pun like right at the end. He sat the whole time and his hype men did most of the work though.

I never saw Biggie perform, but he gave me a flyer when he first came out promoting his shit. I probably threw it on the floor.
I remember when my friend and I saw the video of Juicy, and Biggie was bragging about how rich he was and shit. My friend and I were like "Isn't that the fat ass that gave us a flyer on the train?"

Dang, you got see him right before he died.

It will be interesting to see if both Tupac and Biggies murders will be solved from this.

I have already solved the case. Suge Knight, Industry Thug. Conflict makes for money. And we all know what happens when someone young and talented dies.. more money for the industry. He might not have pulled the trigger but he pulled the strings.

no mentioned that today is Tupac's 40th birthday

my students know who tupac is - they still have who's better arguements "Biggie or Tupac" - Tupac is the hardest working dead man for sure.
watch this dude end up dead, because Tupac is still alive

    http://www.comedycentral.com/videos/...is-still-alive

    if that doesnt work:
    didnt work

Oh, I always thought Biggie's peeps killed Tupac for his Hit 'Em Up song. Then Tupac's peeps went and killed Biggie because his peeps killed Tupac.

was a freshman in college when Biggie died, and the first thing i said when he died was "oh shit, Tupac killed him"

i found out about Tupac from a breaking story on Mtv, just like Kurt Kobain. Mtv was still involved in the music industry.
