Laura Lynn Romine-Henslee, 53, of Denton, Texas, wife of Gary "Doug" Henslee, died Wednesday May 4, 2016 at Denton Regional Medical Center. She was born in San Diego, CA, on January 29, 1963, daughter of the late Charlotte "Candy" Romine-Belasco and the late Vernon Dallas Romine. In Laura's early career, she worked as a purchasing manager and a top sales representative for GTE Corporation. But when a family came about she dedicated most of her life to raising her three children as a stay-at-home mother. Laura was beloved by all she met with her big heart, warm words, and sense of humor. She had a true gift of making all people who crossed her path feel special and loved. Laura had a passion for animals, caring for others, and a love for the ocean. In her childhood she enjoyed raising horses and performing in many theater productions. Laura is survived by her husband of 29 years; three children, Dustin (25), Candace (23), and Lacey (12); older brother, Michael; older sister, Leslie; and step-father, James Belasco. She was preceded in death by her younger brother, Benjamin, as well as her mother, and father. Memorial donations may be made in Laura's giving memory to Friends of the Family at P.O.
