I think this one deserves its own thread simply because of her van.

Woman vanishes after high-speed chase in 'Scooby' van
A Redding, Calif., woman evaded capture after leading police on a high-speed chase in a minivan painted to resemble the Mystery Machine from the "Scooby-Doo" cartoon show.
Sharon Kay Turman, 51, remains at large after she ditched the brightly painted teal and pea-green 1994 Chrysler. She managed to disappear despite multiple law enforcement agencies, patrol cars and even a CHP helicopter pursuing her.
According to KRCR-TV, Redding police were alerted by a probation officer Sunday afternoon that Turman was wanted for a probation violation. Police found her driving the minivan, but instead of pulling over, she hit the gas.
Police chased her over city streets, county roads and a major highway. Near the town of Anderson, she ran a red light and struck four vehicles but kept going, police said.
After leading police through Anderson, Turman entered Interstate 5 and floored the van, reaching speeds of over 100 mph, KRCR-TV said. She exited at Highway 36 and was spotted abandoning her Scooby van by the CHP helicopter.
But before police could arrive on the ground, she disappeared.
