Lawren was only 36 years old when she suddenly passed away on February 4th, 2016. Those of us who were lucky enough to know Lawren, knew a woman who was generous, loving, adventurous, quirky at times but always kind. Lawren?s warm and generous heart was palpable to those around her. She often stayed up late into the night cooking a six-course meal for her dearest friends. Lawren?s kindness expanded beyond her friends, she made it a habit to pick up tabs for the less fortunate at grocery stores. Lawren possessed an adventurous spirit that fueled her to explore different parts of the world and made her a perfect travel partner to many of us. Lawren was quirky, she loved to dance to 80?s pop music, give bear hugs to welcome new friends into her inner circle, and insist on using zip-lock bags to carry her makeup.
Yet behind these lovable qualities, most of us were unaware of the tremendous sense of responsibility Lawren carried in her heart. She was not only the pillar of strength for her family but also the main financial provider. Now her grandmother, mother, and younger brother must face a future without Lawren. Her death leaves behind much heartache and many memories. As funeral arrangements are being made, we would like to set up a memorial fund to help Lawren?s family to ease the burden that such a loss brings. Lawren has touched our hearts and changed our lives in so many different ways. We hope to give back the love and support she?s given us to her family.
