PLAINFIELD (WTHR) - Federal attorneys plan to hold a Monday press conference to announce charges in a series of online threats that began in December of 2015.
United States Attorney Josh Minkler will announce the charges Monday at 10 a.m. in Plainfield.
Interest in the case has been high for months. In December, classes at Plainfield and Danville high schools were canceled after someone created a Facebook page under the name "Brian Kil" threatened to go on a killing rampage at Plainfield High School and also made threats against The Shops at Perry Crossing mall in Plainfield.
Two weeks later after the initial threat, in January of 2016, the FBI, local and state police raided the homes of three Plainfield High School students.
Another raid in Plainfield in July of 2016 netted at least one computer and several other bags of evidence.
He wanted be the "world's scariest cyber terrorist". He even blackmailed someone to go to the community forum and report back to him!
What a loser.![]()
OK I skimmed this entire thread and I may have missed key indicators, but is it correct to state that this "man" had NO connections to the girl in Plainfield over whom this all started??? This was random?
Has not stepped one fort in Indiana ever. Yet anyway, currently on his way to become a resident for the next 15-35 years.
Foot either. I don't think they allow forts in prison. I, on the other hand, love a good blanket fort.
Ooh. Can you imagine the farts in prison? The echoing down the long bright hallways with no ventilation.
Dude pled guilty to 41 charges and now faces life in prison.
