He's a pastor! Of course there's shenanigans! Not only did he lose his wonderful wife? No. The love of his life? No. His Ministry Partner! Ahh! There's already been like 20 Datelines and 48hrs episodes with like this exact story!
I didn't see any comments either. How can they clear someone in 1 day's time? Just because he was at the gym doesn't mean he didn't hire someone to do it. Either they are dumber than dog shit, or they want the husband to think he got away with it.
Also what the fuck is the above comment supposed to mean? They aren't even going to have a seperate funeral service for this woman, because they support her husband? Wtf kind of shit is that?Celebration of Life services
Meantime, local Indianapolis pastors have decided on an alternate plan instead of a separate vigil in memory of Amanda Blackburn. They will participate in the Celebration of Life services soon to be announced by The Blackburn Family. The Indianapolis-area clergy wants to show full support of Pastor Davey Blackburn.
I was able to see the comments and here are some of the highlights:
I find it odd that he was able to release a statement, on how she was his best friend, a day after she died. Something is not right here, normally people who are so in love would have been unable to pull it together so soon. Yes, people may handle it differently, but yeah, I say something is not right here!
I agree but a statement not even 24hrs after she was dead, does not sound like protective shock to me. many people who lose a husband, children, or even a best friend, who the hell would want to make statements to media when you are hurting so bad or in shock? Someone who is not normal, that is who. But I also believe, that only facts will tell the truth, so we shall see. The saddest part of all, is that a mother and her baby were taken in a horrible manner.
An "airtight" alibi? Now that's suspicious right there. I'm wondering how long Davey has been going to the gym that time of day.
No one is ever 100 Cleared from a brand new investigation.
Is it this dude?

Locals say it doesn't pass the sniff test either.
Here's my question, that time of the morning and nobody heard a gun shot? Someone mentioned that the Husband got home at 8:30am so that the crime happened even earlier. I don't buy a home invasion in a cul-de-sac at a time of day where there's activity in the neighborhood with kids heading to school and people to work. People walking their dogs etc. I can tell you first hand that when we do pet sitting (am and pm) we run in to tons of people on the streets while we're out rather than mid afternoon (dog walks). Time of day, location, nobody hearing it. Doesn't fly.
ETA: They better take a good look at time of death. I think he did it then went to the gym then claimed to find her.
Here's the thread on the other one: http://mydeathspace.com/vb/showthrea...-in-their-home
Yeah, I've already seen this Lifetime movie. Husband is guilty.
The police say it's not the husband. They have video of him at the gym at the time she was murdered. There were also camera on a neighbor's house.
Their child was home at the time of the murder.

I'm jaded enough to think either he hired somebody, or she had a honey on the side. Or a creepy neighbor.
I still say follow the money.
This is their house. Look how close it is to other houses

I also read that they released the house back to the family. The family had one of those cleaning services come in and clean. Then the police came back the next day to collect more evidence. A reporter was outside the house while the crime scene technicians were inside.
"It’s impossible to communicate all the emotions my heart has been forced to process. My wife was such a beautiful, gracious, loving woman of God. I have not only lost my ministry partner and support but also my very best friend. There is no way to prepare yourself for circumstances like these. As deeply as I am hurting I am hopeful and confident that good things will come of this. I rest in the truth of Romans 8:28 that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose."
"Thank you for understanding my desire to take these next few days to continue to grieve for Amanda Grace. My focus right now is to let The Lord minister to my heart as I continue to shepherd little Weston’s. I’ll be taking this time to focus on being a great follower of Jesus, dad, family member, and pastor to our growing church."
"Amanda made it her life’s calling to love and serve everyone she knew. Even more, she has made it her life’s mission to see as many people as possible come to know Jesus as their personal Savior. I know that in her death and legacy even more people will come to a saving faith in Christ. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt her desire for me would be to continue what we’ve started here in Indy. I hold firm to the belief that God is still good, that He takes our tragedy and turns it into triumph, and that the best truly is yet to come."

Oh my god. I am so disappointed in myself. I've seen this all over FB, and never thought once the husband was involved. But it makes sense.
I live just south of Indy, so this is somewhat local to me. I don't know the family personally. People that have heard of this story, including myself, say that something just does not sit right.
Maybe we're all wrong. He's been 100% cleared.
http://m.wyff4.com/news/former-upsta...asion/36384710
No arrests have been made in the home invasion and shooting death of a former Upstate pastor's wife in Indianapolis, but authorities told WTHR-TV that the pastor has been "100% cleared" in connection with her death
I wonder if they are saying he is 100% cleared for a reason (if that makes sense)?
Yes. I'm able to read the comments that Puzz referred to and they're saying that to loosen some lips. If people think he's innocent, they may be more forthcoming in their statements. Also, it leads the way for dumbass to fuck up since he thinks he's in the clear.
That is what I think as well, Strmm. I certainly hope it isn't the husband, but I cannot get past things such as there being nothing stolen from the home (if it was a break in), as well as the time of the morning this supposedly happened. As Boston pointed out, there would have been a lot of people in the neighborhood stirring around, heading to school, work, etc.
Someone in the comments posted a link to this crime too: http://www.nbcnews.com/watch/datelin...e-328809539607 very similar.
Maybe I've been warped by all my time on MDS but when I first heard this on the news and they said he was 'at the gym' my instincts had me giggle and say 'of course he was! Watch and see, he did it.' It'll be interesting to watch this one unfold.
