Former NBA player Jackson Vroman was found dead in his pool at his home in L.A., the Coroner's Office confirmed to Us Weekly on Tuesday, June 30. He was 34.
The Phoenix Suns first confirmed the tragic news via Twitter on Monday, June 29. "We are very saddened to learn of the passing of Jackson Vroman," the team tweeted on Monday night, alongside a photo of the forward in action. "Our thoughts are with his family during this time."
The Lebanese Basketball team also reported of Vroman's sudden death via its official Twitter account. "We sadly announce the death of former Lebanese national team player Jackson Vroman in a tragic car accident," the team wrote, alongside a photo of the late athlete.
It was later revealed that Vroman was not killed in a car crash. The L.A. County's Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner told Us that Vroman was found dead in a pool at his home that morning.
"He has not been examined yet but we can confirm that he was discovered at the bottom of a pool," the coroner told Us. "There was no indication, however, that he hit his head anywhere. He did not have any chronic or acute medical condition that would be the reason why he was found at the bottom of the pool."

Someone messaged the MDS FB asking if anyone had more info about the COD. I remember reading about this at the time and someone tweeted that there was footage of him slipping and hitting his head before falling into the pool? Can anyone find anything?
