    I don't think so, I think the dad has taken a comment made by police and ran with it. I don't know how they could possibly know that a sex offender has them.... If you know this then go get her.
    What's troubling me is the police have called off all searches lack of resources amd saying that the child is with his aunt so is not in danger, um she has the mental capacity of a SEVEN YEAR OLD ! so in effect there is a 7yr old and a 2 yr old missing and after just a month they give up looking WTF ?!
    If a non custodial parent "takes" a child all hell breaks lose .... I don't get it

    It wasn't until recently that Bynum discovered how many sex offenders live around his home in the Brunswick neighborhood. The family moved to Gary from Hammond in February to save up money to buy a home.

    According to the Lake County Sheriff's Department website, there are 21 registered offenders living within a mile of the Bynum home."
