Hahaha, I'm just used to being around old people in their 90s so 77 seems pretty young to me, comparatively. I guess it's not very young, but it is below (barely) average.
They better keep an eye on him though, and be ready for the double tap.
Since Romero died I went searching all over my house for this comic, I know I bought it in 1990 something. I wonder if anyone is actually getting a price even close to this guys asking price.

Depends entirely on whether it is a rare comic or not. If it's not hard to come by, it won't go up in value.
This was really unnecessary snark. I suggest whatever issue you have with me, you jog off.
My parents were both ardent comic book collectors. They have collections worth thousands. I agree with you that ultimately, any collectible item is only worth anything if there is a demand for it. That's pretty much how all commerce functions.
John Heard 1945-2017 I really liked this guy.
John Heard, the actor who played the father in “Home Alone,” died Friday, July 21, 2017, according to multiple news sources. He was 72.
Heard died at a hotel in Palo Alto, Calif. where he was recovering from back surgery performed at nearby Stanford Medical Center, according to TMZ. The cause of death has not been determined, but foul play is not suspected according to the Santa Clara Medical Examiner’s office.
He was known to audiences for playing Peter McCallister in the first two “Home Alone” movies. Alongside co-star Catherine O’Hara, Heard played the role of overwhelmed and absent-minded father with genuine concern. It was an essential part of what made the family comedies, starring young Macaulay Culkin, blockbuster successes.
Born March 7, 1945 in Washington, D.C., he began his acting career off-broadway in New York City. He was a leading man in his early films, like “Chilly Scenes of Winter” and co-starred with Jeff Bridges in “Cutter’s Way.” He transitioned into playing supporting roles in several notable films, including “Big” with Tom Hanks and “Beaches” with Bette Midler.
He also starred in cult classics like “C.H.U.D.” alongside future “Home Alone” star Daniel Stern and the more recent “Sharknado.”
He received an Emmy nomination for his role as a corrupt detective in “The Sopranos” and had a substantial guest appearance on “Battlestar Galactica.”
He was married three times, including a brief marriage to “Superman” star Margot Kidder. He also had a lengthy relationship with Oscar-winner Melissa Leo. The couple had one child.
Heard is survived by three children.

How 'bout Justin Bieber hitting a pap with his car, eh, eh?
I don't know who to root for because paparazzi are human trash.
Oh, please. Being famous is not as easy as not being famous. Literally billions of people are not famous every fucking day. Paps make careers. And don't most people give a heads up when they're going somewhere?
Remember the protest during the Peacemaker premier? Clooney made nice real fast when he felt the burn.
