Seriously, why do people think they are so important that the government gives a fuck that you went to work and then picked up a pizza for dinner?

The caliber of people who believe it is lacking. Also lacking is both common sense and working brain cells numbers. But the ones I know who think that way are disgruntled with their own lives and choices and would rather convince themselves that it's always someone else's fault than admit to their own failings. My ex always took the path where he could blame everyone else for everything. He fits right in with the antivaxxers and conspiracy pushers. They are his people.
We share a son. luckily, him being a crappy Dad has kept our son from falling into the wormhole.

I am floored by people who think they are that important. I follow Andrea Knabel's sister on FB (Andrea has been missing from Louisville, KY since 2019). Long story short, yesterday someone commented on a post of hers saying that their stepson is missing. Erin (the sister) was kind and said if she had a missing person poster for the stepson she would post it on all of the Andrea Knabel Missing socials. The lady then proceeds to post about 100 times with various conspiracy theories that she and her family have been tracked by the government for years. She shared pictures of how they know they are being tracked. It was insane because clearly it is a drug-induced paranoia going on. People, the government is not spending time on you.

Exactly. The only people that would worry and freak out, are the people probably doing something horrible, and you deserve to be caught.

You can add to the list that Bewitching and the recent issue was due to the vaccine and multiple boosters.

we're both boostered out the wazoo and proud of it. But we tend to go to flea markets where most are not just unvaccinated, they also think we shed god knows what all over them. Because we're often standing in line making idle conversation we hear a lot of theories. My favorite is the vaccines are implanting tracking devices that allow "them" to track us so that we are control subjects for the government. I like to tell them* it's too late for that, we've been other planets sea monkeys since forever and right now larger beings are just watching us and dropping poison ie: (or eg: i confuse the two) ash from Canada or chem trails or smog, into our fish bowl to see if we die.


So if there's ever a 'sea monkey' theory going around ... it was me, you're welcome.

*= sadly my ex husband actually believes a lot of that nonsense and I think it's my job as an ex-wife to egg it on.

My husband likes to tell stupid people like this that they are contracted to spray chemtrails when he flies. Would you believe that there are a fair number of flat earther pilots?

Roseanne Barr Re-Cancels Herself: ‘Nobody Died in the Holocaust’

On a recent episode of This Past Weekend with Theo Von, the popular comedian sat down with fellow comic Roseanne Barr, whose comeback show was cancelled in 2018 in the wake of her sending racist tweets. Now, Barr has made another alarming comment, telling him that “nobody died in the Holocaust,” before adding, “It should happen. Six million Jews should die right now ‘cause they cause all the problems in the world.”

She was playing a role on stage and in the show, but by trying to lull the Midwest and South in to a sitcom, they used her for the "Good Ol Gal" factor and just ignored that she was a racist bitch.

Here's my view on things and it's actually really sad:

If you're white and from the South or Midwest, you're super racist until you prove to me otherwise. And actions speak louder than words.

Meh, it's everywhere. Hubby said he'd never lived in a more racist place that the UK. He said the US was a breath of fresh air on race relations when he moved there. The only difference is the target is more brown people than black, and that's less inflammatory and more accepted these days it appears, so it gets downplayed.
