Now see I can't agree with that. At one point Mel Gibson was the hottest thing in town. Being an absolute troll didn't make him less easy on the eyes. I wouldn't have spent any time with him (as if) but he was sexy. BS doesn't even have that hot, bad boy thing going. I just don't get it.
And, I've given up on trying to figure out which celeb is a good person and who ought to be locked up. Every time I think, "well at least Al Franken's heart is in the right place..." kaboom.
I think Mel Gibson is absolutely disgusting. Mad Max era Mel may have been attractive but that was prior to him opening his mouth and expelling hateful word vomit and beating women, and now rewatching that, he disgusts me. There is nothing sexy about him at all. He's horrible.
Absolutely agree with you, bowie. If you're a piece of shit human being your looks don't mean shit.
Handsome is as handsome does. There are so many celebs that could be pleasing to look at. Once people get a sense of what's truly below the surface, they might as well walk around with a bag on their head.

I can never tell if I'm attracted to someone until they speak. Personality defines sexy.
If someone is 'easy on the eyes' but says shit like, "I think White, Christian males are the most persecuted group of people on the planet," then they are fucking ugly.
If someone is nondescript or whatever but says something like, "I think Roseanne is possibly the best sitcom ever. Wanna binge watch it with me and a bottle of whiskey?" Then mutha fucken swooooon, baybay.
Sarcastic. Skeptic Tank. Self-deprecating.
What kind of whiskey?

I used to be a misogynist homophobe (still ugly:)).
I think people can/do/will change given time and continued exposure to different people/ideals etc.
I know coming out of a fundie type religion totally opened my eyes about my ideals along with being exposed to others that think differently. I have changed so much that my old fundie friends wouldn't even recognize me in terms of my beliefs.
Thank you!
And you didn't fall for anything. I'm just sharing my story of how some people can change. I'm also a stranger on the internet so I can see how people might not believe it :(.
Sadly it is true, my particular religion messed me up a bit in terms of how I felt about certain folks. Thankfully all it takes is stepping away from said religion and being exposed to diverse sets of people to see we all want to be loved and accepted.
Actually I'm female however the religion I was raised in believes that women are to be submissive to their husbands and husbands tend to really take advantage of it. Sadly I really believed that women were inferior to men for most of my adult life:(.
Sorry not trying to go off topic, I sincerely was trying to point out that some people can change how they feel. I totally identify with the former WBC gal on the new Sarah Silverman show. One can go from total hate (because they are taught that) to one of acceptance and love.

I had heard awhile ago he had an affair with that Natalie woman, was she on the show with him and got transferred out?
ETA: the harrassment took place during the 2014 Olympics.
Eta2: apparently he used to pinch Katie Couric's ass-which is not cool. I have a feeling he's a mega sexual pest.
He always struck me as an a sshole. I wonder if any of this played into the whole Ann Curry thing.
