This thread is terribly disappointing. Where do all the NFL players start their careers? College. Where do most of the NBA players start their careers? College. Yes I like NFL, but I don't like the NBA (it lost it's luster after 1996). I love NHL, but never watch college hockey. So top sports are...

college football
NFL (tied with baseball...I love MLB)
college basketball
NHL
midgets fucking
NBA.

:D

Shit I am pretty much an all around sports lover, baseball being my favorite, but I will watch almost any sport except for hockey. And is hockey really one of the major sports anymore???? My baseball season has been pretty uneventful, seeing as the Phillies suck. But so do most Philly teams. I still play 2 sports, baseball and golf. I can't really watch golf, but I love playing it.

I dunno, was never into it, I would watch the playoffs when the Flyers were in it, just out of curiousity of what they would do. But really I haven't watched hockey in like 3 years, and I don't miss it.

Delta aren't you Canadian?

Hockey isn't that big of a deal yo. Blackhawk tickets are cheap as funk. Usually they have to have someone perform a concert after the game, just to get people to attend. It's kinda lameo. No offense..

Yeah, agreed, hockey games aren't getting the ratings that women softball does in the states, it just isn't a big sport here. And see Andrea you made the TTC, I am not that mean.

Hockey is filled with crushing body checks, it's fast paced, exciting, there's fights. What else can you ask for?

Watching a kicker come out every time a football team is 1 yard away from first down puts me to sleep.
I like basketball but all the fouls slow the game down.
Baseball is about as exciting as watching paint dry.
Soccer is like a chess game, but I wouldn't want to watch a chess game so that cancels soccer out.

Yeah I can agree with you on the soccer thing, I don't get that sport either. I dunno what it is about hockey that I don't like, I just don't. I try watching it and I always find myself uninterested in like 10 minutes.

That's because the Blackhawks suck. You can't get Leaf tickets for less than $200.

Maybe it's because ever since I was a kid the Hockey Night in Canada theme song permeated my brain every Saturday night.

You're Canadiaaaaaaaaaaaaan!!!

Hockey is huge in Canananannanada. Not so much in the states, try getting Bears tickets, or Packers tickets. They're just as expensive, if not more, for one of their games.

I've been to a couple live games, never watched it on TV though. I'm telling you, the only time the audience puts their beers down to pay attention, is when someone gets checked or flung up against the wall. Otherwise it's  .

Yeah, Eagles tickets are a pain in the ass to get, and when you finally do, they are expensive as hell. Hockey has lost all its luster in the states, if I wanna watch guys fight, I'll watch boxing. Fighting is exciting, but I say put your gloves back on and play the fucking game. Thats what you are there for.

I think if they made the puck in hockey bright pink I'd be more interested. Also, put both players who commit penalties in the same penalty box and have them fight to the death to get back out on ice.

Bright pink might work, maybe they should get half-naked dancers like b-ball and football, maybe then I might watch. Well at least I'd watch between the action.
